El Arriero at The Shores

Real nice place to go and eat. Nice view of the lake from the dining area. We're from Pennsylvania down here to help with the aftermath of hurricane helene and these wonderful people served us lunch at no cost to show there appreciation. If your in the area highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat

We came to Anderson to watch our grandson play football, at Anderson University (which is only about a 20 minute drive) and had a wonderful relaxing time. The campground was very nice, quiet and clean. Cindy (I believe she was over. seeing the Campground while the owners were away) was awesome! She checked on us each day to see if we needed anything, gave us rides on the golf cart around the campground and even hung out and chatted around the fire a couple nights with us. As I said before it’s convenient located to AU, ClemsonUniversity and downtown Anderson. The restaurant on site was excellent unfortunately we didn’t have time to take advantage of the waterpark but it looked like so much fun. We will definitely be back.

Went for my birthday. AYCE crablegs at a great price of 42$ Now I know why. They sucked!! I'm no champion at cracking crablegs but do fairly well at it most of the time but the meat would not come out..PERIOD!! I was so aggrevated.
The waitress was very nice at first but After a few refill request on the crabs legs, drink, napkins (you know, the norm)
She was not too nice. Rolled her eyes and the finally just ignored us!! My husband and best friend liked their Mexican dishes okay!! Asbury shores is lovely but the restaurant IS NOT!

Location is all they have going. The service is slow. The food cold when it arrived, on a hot day, says a lot. First and last visit to the restaurant. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD!!!

Great service except for one grumpy female, Mexican bartender, who charged way more than all the other employees. We normally go during the day and at night, so we know the adult beverage prices.

We just went to the SOA on Friday. It was so much fun! I highly recommend the water cabana for those not participating on the obstacles. My kids rated it a 10/10 and a 100/100! They are 5.5 and almost 8. They’re already asking to go back again!

Good food at reasonable prices. Great atmosphere right next to the lake. Wide open view. Seems like they need more wait staff tho.
