The Galley Restaurant Reviews
Friday night date night 3.5 lb lobster was excellent, bar staff and wait staff great. Something was missing. Met Rachel the manager and she was not Dawn. We miss the class the Galley use to have.
Always great. Never disappoints with food or service. Been a favorite for years!!
We had reservations on Friday night. The restaurant was packed. We had Prime Rib and Salmon. It was wonderful! Our waitress was great! We can’t wait to go back!

The Galley Restaurant offers a beautiful, scenic atmosphere with stunning views of the lake in some areas. The service is generally excellent, with attentive waitstaff who anticipate needs and make helpful recommendations. The food is outstanding, featuring a variety of options including vegetarian choices such as broccoli and squash casserole. Dinner items like the scallops and sushi receive high praise from customers. The restaurant accommodates special requests, making it a great choice for a date night or special occasion. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with simple decor and an upscale feel. Many guests enjoy the beautiful views and delicious cuisine, especially from the sushi bar, where chefs provide exceptional service and recommendations. Recent reviews highlight that despite a storm, the place was busy and well-staffed, with friendly service from staff like Karli. The portions are large, often enough to take home, and the sides like onion rings and squash casserole are highly appreciated. The restaurant's attention to quality is evident, occasionally not serving items like salmon if the quality does not meet standards. The experience is enhanced by the picturesque sunsets and consistently good food. Overall, The Galley Restaurant remains a hidden gem in the Anderson area, worth making a reservation for.
