The food here is amazing. Chef Josh has a few staple menu items and a rotating menu of specials that are always fantastic. Try the short rib or the scallops with spaetzle. Hes also got a nice cocktail menu and a good selection of other drinks. It's definitely one of the top restaurants in Anderson.
Top-notch dining in Anderson County, potentially outshining the entire upstate. The service was both friendly and efficient. Our first visit tonight - and every course (4) and every drink (2) was awesome. And our server Natasha was right on point with her recommendations…. With excellent service all around!
The Fickle Palate is a popular destination for a night out in Anderson. Chef Josh's dishes are delicious and feature a rotating selection of specials that are always fantastic. Customers highly recommend trying the Mussels, short rib, and the delicious alligator dawg. The Italian beef stew, tonkatsu yard bird, filet, and bison burger also receive praise for their flavor and tenderness. The bar team offers a nice cocktail menu and a wide range of mixed drinks and beers. With attentive service and knowledgeable staff, this restaurant stands out as one of the top spots in Anderson. Although some diners noted that the lack of AC can make it toasty in the summer, the overall dining experience remains wonderful. The Fickle Palate is an awesome place to gather and enjoy a fair-priced, palate-pleasing experience.
