I’m honestly so disappointed with the two cakes we picked up today. At $90 each, we expected quality, attention to detail, and for our requests to actually be followed. Instead, what we got looked like something you’d grab off a shelf at Walmart.
One of the cakes even had the name spelled wrong, which is such a basic and unacceptable mistake, especially at that price point. The designs we asked for weren’t followed, and the overall quality just didn’t come close...read full review
We ordered a cake for my daughter’s 16th birthday. It was awful. It had no taste, was chalky, hard as a rock. The writing was crooked. We didn’t even eat it. We threw it away. Talked to someone that claims to be a manager, and he said because we threw it away, there’s nothing that could be done. Even with a video. It was not cheap, because it was considered a “custom”.
I love The Sweetery!! The owner is a dear friend of mine from my childhood! Jane is efficient, kind, sweet & extremely accommodating. I go there for lunch often and purchase their delicious products as often as possible. Jane’s employees exhibit her outstanding traits!
