Food: It's slightly above average Chinese takeout.Service: I received friendly service personally though I initially overheard not so friendly service.Atmosphere: Everything seems to be geared towards "get your food and get out" these days aside from full service restaurants. I mean. They provided a place to sit and eat at least.

I went to this place because my regular Chinese restaurant was closed. I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the same dishes that I get at the other Chinese restaurant in Batesburg-Leesville. I wanted this one to be good because it would be nice to have a go-to on the days that my regular Chinese restaurant is closed. This one was rather disappointing and they got our order totally wrong in addition to the food not tasting like it should.

Second time we have ordered take out from China House, but it will not be the last. I love egg drop soup and theirs is far SUPERIOR to any I have ever had. I ordered chicken chow mein for myself & Kang Pao Chicken for my husband. Mine was just what I wanted, and his was a HUGE amount of chicken, and delicious too. (I served, so I snuck a bite!) I rarely give 5 stars, but you've earned them CHINA HOUSE. Don't let me down!
