We are from Detroit, so we had high expectations for J Lee's coming to Beaufort, as there are no Coney Islands here. They nailed it! Best Chicken Shawarma, Coney Dog and Fries ever! Can't wait to go back!
If you have not been here, then you are definitely missing out!! The people were super nice. The food was great! The best burger I've had in a long time!! REAL ground beef cooked to order, super fresh ingredients, not sitting under a heat lamp. If I'm ever in Beaufort again, I WILL eat there again!

I don't know why we waited so long to finally try J Lee Coney Island but boy it was so worth going. Menu was on the wall. Large print so easy to read. It had so many choices. I went with the beef patty melt and the fresh buttery grill rye bread was the bomb. I will be back for another one and they give enough hot crispy fries to share with another person.
