“The first time we stopped at the Diced Pineapple Authentic Jamaican Cuisine Food Truck was a couple of weeks ago, I ordered one J*** Chicken Taco ?, my hubby got a meal. My taco was delicious! Today, the second time we stopped, I ordered 'two' chicken tacos. My hubby got a fish taco and a chicken taco, he liked both very much.Besides selling from the food truck, they do catering. The food is a big YUM!“

“Stopped in for a snack! Didn’t want to get a whole meal, so I shared a wings basket, cabbage, rice and beans, and beef pâté.All of it fresh and hot. The wings had that perfect crispy outside with the moist and flavorful inside. Beef pâté was good and spicy as any as I’ve ever had. Cabbage was flavorful and moist.Server Vanique was very friendly and attentive. We were the only patrons when we walked but as it often happens, folks came in like a train. The music got turned on and I thought I was in Kingston.Let me tell you that this place is authentic as it gets down to the folks that own and run the place! You won’t go wrong stopping in here!“

“The Curry Goat was very tender and you could taste the curry. It doesn't contain coconut or any exotic spices, it's your typical yellow curry flavors and wasn't spicy, sweet, or full of cinnamon type spices. The goat is chopped and on the rib bone, but there are some potatoes and other meat only pieces. The rice and peas was flavorful but not extremely seasoned, you could serve it to a lot of different people and it wouldn't get the negative reviews some people give. The cabbage and carrots was simple and rustic, soft and slightly sweet. The jerk chicken had some heat, but it definitely has some homemade flare to it, though it's not exotically seasoned. I wasn't biased and enjoyed the flavor, i enjoyed eating it. Unfortunately, there were no plantains with my meal and it was $18, I wanted plantains for that price. I also ordered delivery and didn't receive my ginger beer. I have also had their patties and if you like fried food with fillings these are a quick grab and go side. Overall I think the food is good and a classically simple take on dishes with many local origins, so I'm not unsatisfied with the opportunity to have a meal with international fame. It would be nice to eat some plantains though, but obviously you might have to show up before 1:30 to get them, the delivery driver said a lot of items sell out pretty quick. With delivery paying that extra $5-$15 dollars comes with some higher expectations, but please don't send your meal back restaurants need money to offer these special dishes or else we'd all be ordering Dairy Queen and KFC and getting overpriced frozen chicken.“
