I was in Beaufort, SC for a family event and we about 30 of us decided to eat at Red Rooster Cafe. First time there. The food was delicious. I had the French Toast Breakfast with turkey sausage.
I live in Michigan and whenever I come home, I get my shrimp and grits. Not only do I get mine, I get several orders, freeze them and take them back to Michigan.
I’ve eaten shrimp & grits in a lot of places, but theirs is TRULY the best shrimp & grits I’ve ever had.
My wife and I met there for lunch yesterday but ended up leaving after 10 minutes of waiting in the lobby. No one acknowledged us even though some waitresses saw us standing there but didn't speak. We've heard good things but probably won't try again.
