The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The BBQ was amazing. My choice was the 4 meat platter, and it didn't disappoint. The brisket, sausage, pulled pork and ribs were all delicious and moist. We tried the Korean BBQ burnt ends for an appetizer and they were amazing. Highly recommend stopping in if you're near the area.

When I first walked in, I thought maybe I was under dressed. But when I seen one of the waiters wearing pajama pants, I quickly realized I wasn't. The food was good. The service was o.k. the atmosphere felt like they were trying too hard to be high class. But they really were far from it.

I can't believe I have just recently discovered this place. The kitchen is absolutely killing it! They put something in their brisket that makes you crave it daily. I usually get my order to go, and the burnt ends have yet to make it to my apartment. I love this place.

Our server was not attentive at all, they were out of several items on the menu. Our ribs were overcooked and needed a sharp knife to get through them. We had 7:15 reservations so wasn't expecting they would be out of brisket, burnt ends & the corn muffins at that point. Usually a great meal but not tonight.

We had decided to order a takeout meal while we were enjoying our meal. We had trouble getting anyone's attention to locate our waiter. Another waiter responded, "I'm not your waiter." I found that very rude as did my husband. This other waiter did not even know what I wanted. I may have just wanted directions to the restroom since it was our first time at the Roadhouse in Beaufort. As a trained restaurant manager, I find it sad that waitstaff are improperly trained at local restaurants. If a customer has a question or needs something, any staff available should take the time to respond no matter if it is their table or not. If for no other reason than to get them their waiter. The meat of my steak was cooked perfectly but the beans were a bit too salty. J C

Food was good but disappointing that they had only 2servings of baby back ribs that night, and couple before us had already gotten them. It was a Wednesday night and not many people. First time there. I guess I'd try them on a weekend and hope they had more available.

The food was great..esp the brisket. Portion size was bigger than expected. It was a quiet night there (Monday) so only a few tables which meant noise level was low. We will definitely come back again.

Always great service. We have been to Roadhouse multiple times. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes it's average. Not sure why the inconsistency, maybe different chefs in the kitchen. This particular experience the food was average. Appetizers and Brisket over cooked, Corn Muffins dry and old. Disappointed.

Personally, I did not think the food was very good, but those with me enjoyed it. I am comparing the food to a competitive barbeque restaurant that I thoroughly enjoyed. I tried the combo plate which had the pulled pork, beef and chicken along with a salad. The four sauces offered tasted either too vinegary, or ketchupy, or mustardy. One was too spicy. As someone who creates my own barbeque sauce when I cook I'm spoiled but in this case it's the competition that surpasses this restaurant. While I will not go back for another meal I encourage others to at least try it. It's the fair thing to do.

We were 2 of just 6 diners with a 7pm reservation on a Thursday. Full rack of ribs, baked beans, and sauces were delicious. Brisket was all fat and was obviously cut from the end of something that was leftover. It was inedible.
