IF YOU'RE NOT WHITE DON'T BOTHER COMING IN! Walked in and was in the shop for about 10+ minutes looking at the teas and was never once greeted or asked if I needed any help. There was a tall white, heavy set woman associate at the counter and not once acknowledged that I was even present, and I was the only person in the shop this whole time. Mind you I had every intention of purchasing a couple of tea bags, I even had one on hand that I was going to purchase. The second a white person walked in, she left her counter and walked right up to her offering her help. Even after that I was not acknowledged so I put down the tea and walked out. This happened on 10/5 at 1:15ish pm.

Such a welcoming experience! The proprietor was kind, knowledgeable and offered great suggestions! He even let us sample some fresh brewed tea! We left with 3 different types and I was glad to hear that we could order online and have tea shipped. If we weren’t flying home, I would have definitely taken advantage of his spice room! Incredible selection there too!

Great blends

The wonderful smells of spices was as terrific as their tea bar. We had the banana tea of the day. It was memorable!! Loved it! Great knowledgeable staff made it that much better!

Best spot ever

They have such a great variety of teas, sugars, sweetness, mugs and other items. You can even get a iced tea to-go, which was very refreshing on a 90 plus day. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Limited selection of oolong teas and other teas outside of black and herbal. I found the prices to be quite high. I’d be kind of worried about having customers open the jars of teas to smell from, if they’re using those same tea jars to supply their saleable tea bags with.

Beautiful array of teas, spices and other cooking accoutrements, plus-the inside of the shop smells lovely!

This location was a very pleasant experience for me and my daughter. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The store smelled amazing and the staff were very helpful. I purchased strawberry tea to drink there and a few items to take home.

Let me just say when I heard this was coming to beaufort downtown I was beyond excited. Im a huge tea lover and always try new flavors and blends. I work downtown so when I got done work early one day I stopped in and I was impressed. I looked around carefully and was making note of everything I was planning on picking up after I looked around the whole store since I didnt want to carry around anything while I looked. Now there were 2-3 people working . One woman was going around to the wealthly looking older people and offering them samples and asking if they needed help. Another person was just staring zoning out behind the counter. Now I didnt need help but I was very clearly looked down on and ignored. I guess I didnt look like I had money so they figured why waste their time. I was so disgusted on being bluntly ignored that there was no way I was going to give them a dime of my money. Insane because I was going to spend quite alot in here originally but the way I was looked down on was completely unprofessional. I work in retail down town and I always treat everyone with kindness and make them feel welcomed no matter what they look like or how they are dressed. Apparently the people who work here think if youre not dressed up that you dont have any money and why waste their time asking if you need help or asking if you wanted to try a sample. Really disappointing since I was so excited to try their products.
