Extensive menu and pretty good margaritas (a little too sweet for my taste). Chili Rellenos very good and the refried beans were excellent. Tacos were served with fresh lettuce and tomatoes.
El Mercadito is that delicious Mexican restaurant you’re always looking for when you get to a new city. From the complimentary chips and salsa to their queso, to everything else on their menu is fantastic and appropriately priced. The service is always fantastic and the food comes out very quick (within 10-15 minutes or so). They are also taking Covid precautions very seriously. Arrived on a Saturday night and the place was not busy. Too bad because this restaurant has really good food. The shrimp with garlic was wonderful AND the tails were removed so no mess or fuss to eat. The cheese steak fajita was also quite good. Very nice staff and very good food. Prices are decent. What more can you ask for?
