We were driving back from Myrtle Beach and were not in the mood for fast food. We stumbled onto the restaurant due to a road closure. The name does not do justice to the unique menu. It might be described as a Greek Southern Dairy restaurant with soul. . I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken and a side of gizzards. Not a usual option. The restaurant was clean, well organized and despite working very hard, everyone was 100% pleasant. Everything was fresh and made to order....read full review

Dairy Dream Drive In is a must-stop for snacks and meals on the way to Myrtle Beach. Their three-piece chicken dinners with hush puppies and rice and gravy are a hit, and their cheeseburgers are unbeatable, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The chicken strips are breaded perfectly and the mac and cheese is delicious. Despite being extremely busy, the friendly and attentive staff make it worth the wait. Be prepared for a crowd, but know that parking is available on the side or back of the building. This local favorite is a great spot to grab a bite with plenty of food at a reasonable price, but be patient as they're only open a few days a week.
