Yes this place is soul food and yes these humble loving people make great food! :) I hope you enjoy their food, reminds me of my younger years when grandma use to cook. Authentic.

I truly can't see myself eating at this establishment again but I think it could be what someone else is looking for depending on the circumstances. I would say if you do get food here then it's best to go rather than dine in. It's very casual. When I arrived, there wasn't a long line so I was able to order right away and it took about 15 minutes for my food to be done. The person at the counter was reasonably polite. While I waited on my order, I used the restroom and it wasn't ideal. There's an odd rattling sound in there and the doorknob was moist which I can only hope was due to a customer not drying their hands after washing. For lunch, I ordered a BBQ rib combo with fries and baked beans. The fries were a tad undercooked and the beans weren't flavorful and had an odd consistency. The ribs were pretty good though. I would have preferred they had been pre-sauced like they were in the photo on the menu but they did give me a sauce packet none the less. It should also be noted that there are no fountain drinks but you can get canned soda or bottled water. The price is reasonable.

I can never say enough great things about all of my many dining in or carry out experiences with this fine restaurant! I love the food, I love the fresh market, the chicken is the best…the oysters are the cleanest around, perfect! The crab legs are delicious, the family and all I encounter are always highly respectful and friendly. I wish I could eat there daily!

Always cook good food but this time my wings wasn't done,....I called she said bring it back in which I did....she gave me newer one but was told I examed them....so the customers are wrong.....so make sure your food is done....I will not be coming back after what she said me,....I spended alot of money today here at mame Blair's

Stop in at mama Blair's on my way to Atlanta and I must say they had great customer service and food was delicious.. $/0 to (Dj) Mr.Blair....o yeah the tea is Awesome.
