Jeffrey knows how to make your stomach FULL! We had the shrimp and grits, fried chicken, greens, green beans, Mac&cheese and sweet potato pie. Oh! Let me not forget the cornbread that melts in your mouth as soon as it hits your lips. The sweet tea is nothing short of being SWEET!!! True southern sweet tea that will bring your blood sugar up. Highly recommend if you want true southern soul food.
When walking in you don't really know what to expect because the restaurant itself is in need of updating and attached to the BP gas station. It has its own separate entrance which I liked unlike other restaurants that are attached to connivence store stations. We had the most sweetest polite young lady serve us. Yall I ate at the Jeffery Lampkin Country Boy Kitchen in Bishopville. Let tell yall the food was delicious!! I had the Harriet's chicken grilled, soul saving greens and rice and gravy. I was smiling like a fat kid in a candy store. My daughter had miracle Mac and cheese, Aunt Ida's potatoes salad and faithful fish. My grandson had burger and fries.
