The menu has vegan options and the kitchen will bend over backwards to accommodate other menu choices so they are vegan. I was very impressed with how helpful they were. Before we left the manager came out and asked what changes they could make to future menus to make it more vegan friendly.

First time there, ordered simple quesadillas and a burrito. Everyone around us received their order. It took 45 minutes. They did offer us chips and guacamole. But she didn’t look at our receipt we had already paid for chips and salsa. (Chips and salsa is not complimentary) $60 dollars later no sorry, or discounts. Maybe want to think twice..

I recently dined at Amigos in Bluffton (today), and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory due to the service. The server behind the bar, an older Hispanic man who took my order, was noticeably rude and unwelcoming from the moment we began ordering. Anytime my friends and I had a request, he responded with an attitude. Unfortunately, his demeanor did not improve as the evening progressed.

After we sat down, I politely asked if we could have chips and salsa for happy hour. He said “yes” and brought out the chips and salsa. However, as we were leaving, he rudely yelled, “2.16!!” Confused, I responded, “excuse me?” He continued to say, “2.16!! For the chips and salsa.” When I mentioned that I thought it was happy hour, he replied, “yes, but you didn’t order them beforehand.” While I don’t mind paying for the chips, the way he yelled in front of the whole restaurant was incredibly rude.

It's a shame because I love Amigos in Hilton Head. This was my first time visiting Amigos in Bluffton, and it will be my last. The Hilton Head location may be a drive, but it’s well worth it for the great customer service and better atmosphere!

I recently went back for the second time in the last 2 years. Once was a month or two after Andrew died and the lady up front was intolerable. I thought I'd give it another try and she is still there and just as bad. I agree with all the previous reviews about her. You can't compare anyone to Andrew he was very special but this lady is something else. I can't believe the owner has not addressed this. I also noticed the clientele has gone downhill. I won't even get takeout from there anymore unless I can figure out how to use DoorDash. I hope you work it out. Food is great.

Amigos in Hilton Head and Bluffton have very good food, but there’s a huge difference between the management in Hilton Head and this one. It is worth it to make the drive over to the island and experience amazing customer service (and even better quality of food) vs what you will experience at the one in Bluffton if the manager is working. I can’t think of any other word to describe the customer service we were given from her each time other than just plain nasty. I’ve bitten my tongue time and time again, but today I decided to speak up. I calmly confronted her (the manager) and asked her why she was always rude to people. Her response was “it’s just my personality.” I told her that’s no excuse to treat people the way she does. Personality or not, it’s a choice to be that level of rude.
We love supporting local, but it makes us sad that we stay clear of this place simply because of the rudeness. I hope the manager can either have a change of heart with how she chooses to interact with her customers, or pass this off to someone who knows what hospitality looks like. No matter how good the food is, the manager/owner is the face of the business, and this location desperately needs new management.

I called in a pretty big order and they made it so easy! The gentleman on the phone was very patient and clearly wanted to be sure everything was right for us. Our order was ready when he said it would be and packaged with great care. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. Amigo’s won over my entire, huge family.

The food is not as good as it was when Andrew was alive. Not sure if they have new chefs in the kitchen. Their margaritas are good though!!

I used to love eating there I hadn’t been in awhile so I decided to go get a salad and asked for a small extra salad dressing when I picked up my salad I walked out the door then turned right back around and said I didn’t get the extra salad dressing but the lady made me feel like I was lying what over a salad dressing I was like whatever so I will never eat there again terrible customer service.
