First, the meal - Lemon Drop Martini and Vodka martini, very good. Baked Parmesan Oysters, excellent. Caesar salad was very good, felt it needed something acidic. Filet - It may well be the best filet I've ever had. The lamb - phenomenal! Hubby loved it. I also ordered the Cippolini onions and they are delicious. Service: Top notch, Anthony was fantastic. The cons: We've been seated twice now where the view is a wall. When you're paying $300 for dinner, you don't want to look at a wall. (These are the two 2 tops at the back wall. Why not move those against the other wall?) And finally, the sides. To finish, the sides are just a bit boring. A few tiny potatoes and crunchy green beans. I'd really like some of our local restaurants to step it up on the sides. Or give me the option of truffle fries with my steak? All in all, still 5 stars and has been the last few times we've dined with them. Highly recommend.

As always, everything was perfect. We started with the Oyster Tasting for my husband, the Scallop Crudo for me and the Foie Gras for our friend. For entrees my husband chose the Elk and our friend, and I each had the 10-ounce Filet. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. We shared the Chess Pie and the Creme Brule for dessert. Both delicious. It is our go to restaurant for out-of-town guests or a special occasion. We, also, enjoy an occasional Friday lunch at the bar. I am just sorry that you are completely booked for Christmas Eve but understand the demand is high. We love The Bluffton Room and recommend it highly to anyone that has not yet experienced it.

Everything was great except we got one of the very small tables against the brick wall and not as romantic as the regular tables or curvy booths; especially since this was a big birthday celebration.

Super deserts to top it all off. Price is high but superb value for money thanks to the quality of the food and dining experience.
