The restaurant was charming and the service was outstanding. My husband's Salmon dinner was excellent however I ordered the Butternut Squash Pappardelle with Short Ribs which was very disappointing. Very little sauce or taste and the short ribs were tiny pieces of beef the size of a raisin and very little of them. It was on a bed of frappe that didn't do anything for the dish I felt. However we will definitely return.

The only down side was we were very cold! The front door was held open frequently as guests checked in at the hostess stand and also the door to the porch was held open frequently as servers worked this section. The breeze flowing through the restaurant between these two doors was blowing right at our table. Brrrr!

I love this restaurant, but wanted to let people know it's drafty in the winter and to bring a blanket or warm jacket to wear for comfort. People love it for the history, building and great view, so I wouldn't want to change a thing, just be prepared

The staff was very attentive. They put us in a small corner by a fireplace and a view of the water. The food was delicious! Couldn't have been a better first date!

Delicious! The server recommended a cocktail to match my taste and the short rib French dip was so good! Can't wait to go back again.

I was so disappointed- I wanted another go to restaurant but this failed. The biggest aggravation was that the restaurant wasn't terribly busy and while our server was friendly, she was extremely slow. People who came in after us had their drinks in hand and orders taken but we hadn't even received our drinks. When we looked back at the bar to see what the hold up was, the server for the table next to us noticed and inquired if everything was okay. When we told her we'd been waiting a long time, she seemed perplexed. Our server noticed the exchange and hollered over, “they're coming”. Mind you, we didn't order anything exotic - martinis off their menu. When we finally did get our drinks, there was no apology, she just put them on the table with no explanation. The unfortunate thing was that this set the tone for the meal and it just never recovered. Food was good but nothing that I would drive out to palmetto bluff again for.

Food was good! We were there for breakfast and had the buffet. The service was great and we would definitely go back.

Saturday eve reservation for 5 & were sat right next to bar & kitchen despite asking for one of the multiple back room or patio open tables. was loud & cramped. Food good as always, but our most disappointing visit yet.

Great food and service! Will definatley return. The only thing is I would recommend the wait staff Let people know, especially when they're sitting close to the church, that the bells will chime. We were there at noon and it was very startling and at 12:30.

Menu was a little limited, but my main issue is that my salmon was very undercooked. It took a while to get our server to come back to the table. She seemed to be busy chatting. Finally got another server to take my meal back to be properly cooked It was brought back pretty much in the same condition… by the time that had transpired, my appetite was gone. Same thing pretty much happened to my wife who ordered the Mahi, also well undercooked

Disappointed for the third visit. Food is meh, pricing is way over the top overall value is disappointing so we'll just skip the long drive and stay in Old Bluffton who's getting much better with dining choices!

The bread was great, the Brussels were great, but the entrees were not great. The butternut squash pasta was a clump of no flavor although The grilled shrimp on top were good. The pasta had cheese piped on the side and that was cold vs the hot pasta and it added no flavor. The Asian noodle salad was weird, served cold and not what you would expect with a noodle dish. The service was great at the beginning of the meal but then we only saw our server once more and had to flag someone down for the check. Overall, not a great experience.

We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday at their Sunday brunch. We both decided to order a La carte. My husband started with a Bloody Mary, shared deviled eggs with me and had an omelette. I ordered a mimosa that came with a slice of pink grapefruit and had the shrimp salad. The ambiance was wonderful as it was a sunny but cool day so we sat outside. In front was a church with many in attendance as well as you could hear the music. Also after we crossed the street and there was a Produce and baked goods market as well as a craft show. The only negative as we were visitors you had to park behind the market and walk a half mile over the bridge. Since my husband is a month out of surgery this proved a little challenging. Definitely would call next time to find out if that is the case with their other restaurants on property.
