We were really looking forward to visiting Burnt church distillery after seeing the pictures. It’s a very beautiful building. The bourbon collection is good and so is the food and cocktails. However, the staff left us feeling disappointed and not inviting. From hostess to server everyone had a bad attitude. No smiles, no welcoming greetings or small talks. Even the ladies at gift shop where busy chatting over a catalog while we were trying to pay. We were seated in a corner by the door although there was plenty of seating available. The restrooms were not well kept, two stalls didn’t even have toilet paper. We really wanted to like this place but we won’t ever return to a place we didn’t feel welcome.

Our Vacation was based on visiting distilleries. Staying in Savannah we traveled a short time to Burnt church. We had such a great experience. Hannah our server was super sweet and had very good recommendations. Dave was amazing. His knowledge of history and drinks made it a truly great time. The facility it self was super clean and designed beautifully. Food was great. Wings and meatballs were perfect.

Excellent bourbons! We just happened by and decided to stop, tours have to be booked online so we went to the bar and enjoyed the bourbon flight of 5 selections, and a bourbon drink special. We didn’t eat because we had other dinner plans but the pizzas and other food items looked great! We enjoyed the bourbon enough that we bought a bottle of Bluffton Whisky.

Enjoyed a distillery tour with our guide Clinton. Extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. We discussed the history of the area and the distillery itself. He guided us through their spirit options and we picked 4 spirits for our flight. Everyone on the tour indicated they were pleased with their selections. Great tour option.

We took the tour, Clinton was AMAZING & VERY knowledgeable! We decided after buying 2 barrels in the gift shop for home decor, we chose to have lunch the pizza is wonderful! Will definitely be back!
The food and atmosphere were great! Thanks for the hospitality and the recommendation of the Cornbread Red, Dave. It also offers a quaint gift shop with cigar humidor.

This is a must go to place!! Incredible!! this place is beautiful, the outdoor area is beautiful!! All the flights of tasting were incredible the food was awesome, we had a great time, we'll go back again!! 😀

This distillery is exceptional! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel right at home with their warm and welcoming attitude. The manager greeted us with genuine hospitality and shared fascinating insights about the distillery’s history.
What truly sets this place apart is the generosity of the management, the outstanding food—especially the delicious meatballs—and the lively atmosphere. The addition of live music made the experience even more enjoyable!
Overall, this distillery is a must-visit!

I have only lived in the area for 6 months, and have driven by The Distillery a number of times and kept saying that I needed to stop in. I finally did and OMG, am I glad that I did! What an awesome place!!! I was super impressed with the atmosphere, and the service was top notch!!! I will definitely be back, and I am planning to bring all my friends who visit to check out this place!!! I started with a mojito and then ordered the peppermino cheese platter for lunch and then I ended with an old fashioned and a to-go order of miraculous meatballs...EXCELLENT!!!
