Great spirits, friendly staff and a gorgeous location. A must visit if in the area.

Love this place, going again in August when we are up that way. From Florida :)

Beautiful building with great food and drinks. Their cocktails were delicious. We had the most amazing server, Hannah. Will definitely be back!!

We took the tour and tasting experience. Our guide Clinton was interesting and was well informed on the local history and the distilling process. We liked the opportunity to taste some samples!

The building/atmosphere is incredible and is a fun place to enjoy a couple cocktails. Their bourbon/whiskey selection was very impressive. On top of a robust drink menu, they offer several non-alcoholic options which was two-thumbs up to my 7-month pregnant wife. Huge shout out to Jay who served us during our visit. He had incredible recommendations and offered my wife a couple NA samples. We will most definitely be coming back during our next trip to SC!

Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Service

My party and I visited Burnt Church Distillery on the evening of Tuesday, July 15th, hoping to enjoy a few drinks and a small bite to eat. Unfortunately, we left before we ever had a chance to order due to a complete lack of service.

Upon our arrival, we waited at the hostess stand to be seated. The hostess was occupied with another guest, which is understandable. However, several other staff members made eye contact with us as they passed by but made no effort to assist us or let the hostess know we were waiting.

After a few minutes, we were finally seated. We then sat at our table for over five minutes, waiting for a server to greet us, take a drink order, or even acknowledge our presence. No one ever came. The distillery was not particularly busy during our visit and appeared to be well-staffed, which made the lack of attention even more confusing and disappointing.

Feeling unwelcome and ignored, we decided to leave. We were very disappointed with the experience and the poor service we received from the moment we walked in the door.

Should have sat at the bar.

Fantastic vibes! The drinks were so good. I got something to do with pears but I can't remember what it was called. Our bartender was awesome. I had so many questions about their non-alcoholic spirits, and he had so much information about them. I do recommend, if you get the non-alcoholic flight, requesting some soda water with it. It really helped the flavors shine through!!

We visited this restaurant because it was recommended by some of the local people. We were disappointed. To be fair we didn't drink the whiskey we only had food, but the food was pretty bad and overpriced. We had the soft pretzel (microwaved) and the chips w/ dip with 2 diet sodas, and the bill was >$50. They charge a 3% fee for credit cards so bring cash.

Cool atmosphere, solid food choices, and great selection of spirits (Johnny Fever was my favorite). Flights are great and can pair with menu items. Above all, they have a vested interest in the community while opening up their property to host for small groups up to 400+ people (reach out to them for pricing).

Have been going here since it opened & have never been disappointed! Amazing drinks & great non-alcoholic options as well.

The service and the food are both terrible. If you go sit at the bar and have a drink as that's the only good part of this place.
The food- their website doesn't tell you their menu no longer exists. They have almost no food, and that food is terrible. The blackened shrimp tacos with flourtortillas- the shrimp are not blackened, they are boiled with no seasoning; the flour tortillas are corn; and the dish is served cold in a Styrofoam carry out box. It's barely edible.
The service- we were a party of 7 and told them before we went to the bar. We later told them we were 8. They then said they would see what they could do. They added 2 chairs onto a table for 6 but never told us. We asked again, and then they said over there. The table was only set for 6. We mentioned to the waitress that we needed more glasses, napkins, and cutlery. None of these items were ever provided. She took our food order and never asked if anyone wanted a beverage. She never came back. The food came, and it was like an auction. They had no idea who ordered which item. No one reappeared until the checks arrived. Simultaneously, we received a text that our table was canceled.
The bills- the emailed copies of the receipts are the first time you see the included a 2.9% up-charge for credit cards, which was not posted as required by federal law. Honestly, they shouldn't be charging this fee. It's a cost of doing business, and with the terrible food and service, it's a slap in the customer's face.
No one in the group left wanting to ever return.
PS, they will no longer have pizzas.

Wonderful food and drinks! Highly recommend the Pizza Your Way and Lime in Da Coconut!

Great place to get craft cocktails! Interesting location that is very aesthetic to the eyes. The bathroom is really cool, but you’ll get embarrassed if you’re standing next to me 🤣. Service is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I enjoyed this experience and compared to the many distilleries I have been to around the world, this one is pretty impressive. As for the spirits themselves, I think there is something for everyone. The whiskey was decent, the vodka was actually surprisingly good, but I truly enjoyed the Agave spirit, which they can’t call “tequila” legally BUT it’s one of the easiest drinking tequila I have had. The coffee and cream liquor was great too which I am not normally in to that but they do good work. Definitely should stop in and experience it, don’t drive by!

My food, shrimp tacos, where served in a styrofoam box. Shrimp was supposed to be blackened. It definitely was not. They indicated that this was because the kitchen was under renovations and food was not prepared at the restaurant. Food would have been much better if they had food trucks at the location while under renovations.
