I had a very unusual experience at a restaurant this morning (2/06/2026 at 8:20 AM). I placed an order online to pick up at the drive-through, but the interaction at the window was disappointing. There was no greeting, no smile, and I was asked to drive around even though there were no cars behind me. I explained that my order was already ready and that I was only there to pick it up. It wasn’t the kind, welcoming service I expected to start the day. I guess not everyone is a morning person, but a little courtesy goes a long way.

Been going there for over 13 years, things have steadily declined over the past couple of years especially in filling drive-thru orders completely and correctly. Missing sauces, toppings and dressing have now become the norm; it is a pleasant surprise when everything is correct. I can understand portion sizes getting smaller because of high prices of food, but it is a sad day when a salad is only halfway filled with a half amount of chicken that used to be. It’s just overall sloppy. It used to be so dependable. Plus the student workers are not as “Chick-fil-A polite” as they used to be. I know these are trivial gripes, but it just saddens me our favorite Chick-fil-A has gone downhill so much.

I was running away from the hurricane and had been driving 8 hours straight. There were several options of restaurants but I'm a Chick fil a fan. I entered the restaurant and walked up to the counter and got waited immediately. The scanner for my order did not work so I was given the receipt to add to my points. My sandwich with extra pickles and hot waffle fries was delivered to my table in 2 minutes. Everything tasted wonderful. Only thing was the dining room was freezing and I was wet from the rain.

The staff is always on point and friendly and my food was hot and made with love and smiling faces. They make you feel welcome in this establishment❤️❤️❤️
It's at USCB, so if you're coming off the interstate looking for food, you may find it difficult. The food and service are excellent and the campus is beautiful, so I recommend! Go Sandsharks!!!
Parking: You are going to have to find parking at USCB; this may prove difficult. Not all, but some areas are gated off.
Kid-friendliness: It's a university campus, but there is a large patio and grassy areas for pets and children.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs.
