We visited Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream Shop in Bluffton, SC, and it was an incredible experience! Watching the nitrogen freeze the ice cream right before our eyes was absolutely mind-blowing. The process was fascinating and added a unique touch to our visit.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The shop was spotless, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. And the ice cream? It tasted amazing! Every bite was a delight.
We can’t wait for our next visit to Chill-N. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and delicious ice cream experience!

Because Of the price point, I have to sort of compare it to parallel price points for frozen desserts; specifically Hilton head ice cream over by New Orleans Rd. and then the gelato place over by Village at Wexford, which is only open during months of tourism.
All three are about the same price
Quite honestly, while , the texture was pretty fascinating, None of the flavors “popped” Whatsoever?
I had the ice cream and then I added banana Flav, and then some coconut….
really could not taste either of the banana nor the coconut, But of course, the texture of the coconut
Now, if you were to find some gelato that was banana flavored or coconut flavored or pistachio flavored, flavor would hit you like a sledgehammer?
Ditto With flavors of ice cream From a place like Hilton ice cream?
So I would give it three stars except the place was super clean and the two young ladies that were working there were very helpful explaining the way things work

I have to eat gluten free. (It’s not a choice!) I hoped there might be 1 or 2 options available for me to order and I found out ALL the ice cream was GF. I ordered the banana my husband-the butter pecan.
The service was excellent and the portion sizes were above our expectations. We enjoyed trying this new shop and cannot recommend it more highly. Looking forward to going on a regular basis, bringing friends and our visiting family!
Dietary restrictions: Ask about their options! I wanted ice cream and was so happy with my order. I might consider trying the yogurt in the future but will always go back for their ice cream.

My husband and I went here for the first time today and it was absolutely awesome. Derek was super helpful and walked us through the process of how everything worked. I got the Nutella flavor with no added sugar, ice cream, and M&Ms. It was sublime! So creamy and dense, I absolutely loved it. And the portion size is absolutely massive. I got the smallest size and it was about 2 1/2 scoops. My husband got dolce de leches with brownies and Reesie’s. We will absolutely be back!

What a cool concept, leading to some of the smoothest ice cream I’ve ever had! I will say the menu board is super overwhelming to look at as there is a lot of information on it, and I know it’s supposed to resemble the periodic table. The process is really cool to watch as well. You can customize so much of your ice cream, they even have dairy free and vegan!

My daughter showed me her favorite place for ice cream on our family day. I can see why is her favorite! She got vanilla mint. I got coffee and heath ,my husband got caramel and chocolate chips. I tried them all and all great! But mine was the best. lol. We ended up getting a quarter size to bring home. We will be back for sure!
