Highly recommend trying this place!! The lunch special can’t be beat. Some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had. Signature sauces are all delicious. Owner is friendly and attentive. The food and service is incredibly consistent and keeps us coming back every time we are in the area!

I was visiting the area from Texas and decided to try this place and unfortunately it was hands down the worst bbq I’ve ever had. Everything was extremely bland. Mac n cheese seemed instant and the green beans clearly from a can. The gentleman who took my order was friendly but I would definitely pass this place.

Good customer service. Friendly Staff. Excellent BBQ options with plenty of sides. The beans and sweet potato casserole was excellent!!! I ordered the special. 1 pulled chicken sandwich and 2 sides, and 1 brisket sandwich with sides. Sides tried in order of favorites: Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, Coleslaw and then Mac n Cheese. Looking forward to going back to try more.
Kid-friendliness: Parking Lot is off the Street. Outdoor and Indoor seating. Felt safe.

This is the best bbq in bluffton. Had a party on 8 ordered brisket ribs pulled chicken sweet potato casserole and wings and corn bread. All excellent.

This place smells amazing as soon as you step out of the car. My family really enjoyed the food. The lunch special, $12 for sandwich, 2 sides, and a drink, was perfect. My boys really enjoyed the “train wreck” (pulled pork/chicken and sliced brisket). My brisket sandwich was great. The buns were very soft, but didn’t fall apart. I like they have 4 different bbq sauces on the table. I put the SC mustard sauce on my brisket sandwich, NC vinegar sauce in my cole slaw, and TX hot/smoky sauce in my Mac and cheese, and it was fantastic. I love that they sell bottles of their sauces; $7 is very reasonable. I bought 2 bottles of the mustard sauce to bring home to Florida. Finally, the service was very good. The guy who took our orders answered all my questions patiently and gladly gave us all the refills we needed. He also advised us to check out the historic district where we found a couple of great gifts. Thank you, Choo Choo BBQ!
Stopped by here on our way home from Hilton Head beach. Got 2 train platters with Mac & Cheese & sweet potato casserole (then simple food for our kids). All food 10/10. BUT the pulled chicken and sweet potato casserole IS TO DIE FOR 10000/10.
If your ever in the area YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE! The owner was also so friendly, made sure we were okay and checkes if we needed anything just the right amount of time without being too much. The service was also quick for our family of 5.. I could rave about this place for dayssssss.
