So nice to find a restaurant of this quality and service in Bluffton. Highly recommend!
Shareable sushi was very good, entrees included Wagyu steak, truffle potatoes, spinach and mushrooms - steak was average, potatoes grossly oversalted thus returned was given beets instead, spinach and mushrooms were nice. Spouse had scallops and beet risotto. Scallops very good risotto just so so. Strawberry cake dessert was lovely. Service good.
Stopped in for lunch and had an awesome meal at the bar! To start, Grant was great at explaining the menu and recommending a few things. The lobster roll was wonderful, stuffed with plenty of fresh buttery lobster. The kitchen split it for us so my picture is half of a portion.
All the sushi was really innovative and interesting as well! The sushi chef has great talent at making sushi, each roll came out perfectly formed, and the flavor combinations were all fantastic. The Sunny Roll and the Hokkaido scallop rolls were particularly delicious.
Definitely want to come try more!
Crudo is an absolute must go! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. They are attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the sushi nachos and the octopus. Both were fantastic and better than anywhere else I've had in town. The lobster rolls appetizer was fresh, buttery, and overflowing with lobster.
Every sushi roll we tried was perfectly crafted and incredibly fresh. The drinks were equally impressive, crafted with care and balanced beautifully. And if you're there on a Tuesday, don't miss out on their half-off bottles of wine! Our server made us aware of it and it was such a great deal that made our night even better.
Crudo nails it on every level: food, service, atmosphere, and drinks. A must-visit when you're in Bluffton!
Everything about this place exceeds expectations. You must go!!!! I am already plotting my next meal lineup there!
Kylie was great and her recommendations were spot on. Will be back
Clase Azul w the surf and turf sushi was delicious! Wonderful wait staff!
wonderful experience. food and service both superb!
Everything was delicious I especially recommend the 3 for $55 sushi and Miles (the person making the sushi) was an expert at it as well as the bartender.
This is the best place in town for some quality seafood, especially if you like raw bar items. Sushi, nigiri, tartar, crudo, ceviche, they do it all amazingly. Even if you're squeamish about that sort of thing, the hot side items are great too. Some of my favorites are the Crispy Octopus, the Crusted Flounder, and the Scallops with Risotto.
If you live in Bluffton and haven't tried this place yet, then you're missing out!

I had the best Birthday dinner I’ve had in a while. This Chef needs to be on Top Chef. The meals were diverse and delicious. Being from Maryland I was skeptical about the lump crab dish. It was the best I’ve had in a while. The best Lobster roll and to top it off if you don’t like seafood, the boar Ragu was the absolute best. Do you see the common word “best”. You won’t be disappointed. I will be back!
Awesome food and staff! Great sushi and. Cocktails.
Different style but very nice and great food
We stopped here for lunch on our drive down to Hilton Head. It is a higher end restaurant that I would typically eat up for dinner... but went on a vacation! Kudo was very good. The lobster roll was very goid. The lobster was poached in butter and cooked very well. If you aren't a fan of the Connecticut style roll this would not be for you. I love lobster any way you bring it to me, so I loved it. We also had the tuna nachos. There was a little seaweed salad surprise under each chip that complimented it well. We need lunch with their homemade butter pecan ice cream. I don't even like butter pecan ice cream, but I loved theirs. It was topped with candied pecans.
The only thing I didn't like were the baos. The bun was dense and crumbly. It should be super light, pillowy and airy. The bao filling was good. The pork belly was cooked well. I would have liked a thicker piece of pork belly so it was closer to what I would typically get at a Japanese restaurant.
The one thing I would add was I didn't expect this restaurant to be open for lunch. It was empty when we ate. Typically restaurants like this are open for dinner only. It's quite the investment for lunch, but very good if you don't mind the cost.
Lastly, the cocktails were very good and original. I love a good craft cocktail and they delivered. I believe I tried two on the menu.
I would definitely go back.
If you enjoy delicious fresh seafood, impeccable service and a cozy upscale ambiance, then you will be happy at CRUDO!
