I’ve been to thousands of coffee shops, and this was by far the best iced latte I’ve had. Perfect level of sweetness/flavor balance. Friendly service, 11/10

Grind has a lovely indoor seating area and make decent ground coffee and iced drinks. However, our latest visit, the barista made our espresso drinks (cappuccinos) boiling hot. To the point the they were quite literally undrinkable because they were so hot, after five minutes I could still only take extremely small sips.

It wasn’t due to accident or inexperience either, because, they were put into double cups, so they are intentionally made this hot. I’m sure these drinks would be great if served at a normal temperature, but as is, they make them waaaay too hot. Espresso based drinks should be warm, but not scalding hot.

Great little spot me and my boyfriend found on our way onto HHI, lattes are great and you can get any flavor cold foam you want! First time we came was last Tuesday and I got the Hot Girl Summer - great matcha latte with blueberry and blueberry/cheesecake cold foam. Today we came back and got the Strawberry Shortcake latte - strawberry and shortcake flavor with vanilla cold foam. Both of these visits the same young lady was working the store, she's awesome - super nice and attentive and she even gave us more cold foam today because it didn't set right the first time. We were the only ones in the store our first visit and she chatted with us for a while and didn't even chase us out when we were there past 6 (we left pretty quickly afterward) but she absolutely elevates the experience.
Entire establishment is spotless with great cozy decor, dangerously comfortable couches, and some separate rooms that you can reserve, there's a podcast room in the back which is cool. Music being played is great for ambiance.
Single person restrooms in the back - also very clean.
Will absolutely return whenever I'm in the area!🧡💜

Wonderful place to meet friends or work remotely. The coffee is locally roasted right here in Bluffton. Games for the kids and cozy atmosphere. I love this place!

I like to stop and grab a coffee on Saturday mornings before I meet up with friends to walk on the trail and I always get a fantastic drink! I love trying the new specialty drinks they change out each season. Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Bluffton!

Ian, my review posted about 44 minutes ago according to Google reviews and it says your response was an hour ago… So nice knee jerk reaction. Reflection is always beneficial.

Again, the attempt was made to talk to your “barista” who immediately walked away without conversation. The receipt provided was not the proper one, so we could not base what was owed on what was provided and did our best without any further guidance or correction. Provide better training for drinks since that is your specialty, as well as on professional interactions with your customers (you may want to use an outside training service for this).

Since you felt it necessary to attack my character with an assumption that the entire review is dishonest, then I assume all the compliments of your business, when discussing how we had fallen in love with it, will also be thrown in the trash.

There was plenty of room inside your establishment today in spite of the parking lot being full. Remember, you are surrounded by many other businesses that are evidently successful.

So I’m not sure what’s happened to this place since March and April, but it has severely gone down in quality and service from then until June and now in July. In the spring drinks were consistently delicious and attractive, and now they are consistently undrinkable. Today’s bagel breakfast sandwich was microwaved (consequently with tough bread, tasteless sausage patty, and processed sliced cheese product melted off the sandwich to the plate) and completely underwhelming. Even more important, I ordered a Matcha with two shots of blackberry and two shots of lavender with coconut milk, and there was no milk, and all I could taste was Matcha without flavoring. And most important of all, neither the person taking orders nor the person making the product seem to have any idea what they’re doing. Not only were our drinks wrong, but the charges were wrong. They came out into the seating area after telling my daughter she was good to go at the register and handed her my receipt (not hers) and told her she owed $1.80 more. She tried to explain that she was told at the register that she was good to go, and that she had handed her the wrong receipt (which was paid in full by card). The girl walked away. I’ve been saying for a solid month we need to be done coming here, now my two daughters are in total agreement. Not worth the time, effort, or investment in what is now a very subpar place. So so disappointing, as we just moved to this area and when we were in the midst of our moving trips, we absolutely fell in love with the spring girl drink and a pretzel breakfast item along with compliments and over-the-top kindness at the drive thru window. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has been good since.

After reading a few reviews this morning for the first time I don’t expect any remedy offered or accountability.
