Karaoke night. Kids, gays, old guys, blacks, freaks and geeks. Great vibe, everyone cheering, clapping and jumping around. Fun!

Food quality is slipping. Corned beef dry. Potato salad dry and too spicy. Cole slaw watery.

I've been here quite a few times for lunch and it's really good. It's one of my favorite places to have lunch with a couple friends of mine. We all enjoy it. The atmosphere is welcoming in an old school southern way, the menu has something for everyone, the serving size is more than adequate, and you'll leave here content. While the Rueben or the pastrami sandwiches don't measure up to what you might be used to if you're from up north, you will still enjoy them. After all, this is the south and we aren't known for classic pastrami. I haven't found one yet in the years we've lived here. I've ordered a chopped salad a couple times and it's so big it is a challenge to finish! Quite tasty too. Soups, sandwiches, sweet (or unsweetened) tea... you can have the whole experience here. Servers are proficient and friendly. I might just stop in today for lunch!

Don’t get your expectations up if you choose to dine at this place. One waitress working the entire dining room, as she told us the others didn’t show up. No bartender on duty so we couldn’t order drinks. Chopped Liver appetizer I would pass on. My husband’s #12 sandwich was good, but very poorly constructed, making it a mess to eat. My tuna salad sandwich had a weird, sour taste to it. Cole slaw had a good flavor, but it was swimming in so much dressing, it was more like eating soup. Definitely not an enjoyable or relaxed lunch experience. This was our second time -and very likely our last.

Visited in the afternoon after the lunch rush and it was lovely, no wait to get waited on And the food was served very quickly. The waitress was very friendly with everyone and gave me a suggestion to try The little Italy. I'm glad I asked, it was perfect!

I had a corn beef sandwich, some chicken soup with meatball and noodles. Then cheesecake . Sandwich was thin , maybe a quarter pound. Dry . Matza ball was stale in taste , broth had no flavor. The cheese cake was flat and grainy.. I, It says New York deli. Owner should go and see what a real New York deli is.Never

When you can't get to Manhattan or Brooklyn, the feeling and taste is right around the corner here in Hilton Head/Bluffton. Wide variety menu, fantastic rye bread, quality meats including all your favorites (e.g., pastrami, corned beef, tongue, liver, turkey) including Matzo Ball Soup, Fried Mushrooms, and potato pancakes for days!!!

One thing for sure they do have New York prices. Don't believe the size of sandwiches in the photos, half that size. Everything ordered over salted . Won't be back.

Food was very deceiving as it is the second time we've eaten here in the last few days and my mother-in-law had gotten sick a few days ago and now my wife with severe food poisoning. Definitely not coming back here stay away from this place.I do not have to prove what I stated as my reviews are accurate and I've been doing this for longer than you've been in business. I don't appreciate that you're insinuating that I would lie being the fact to my status on here and the fact that I've been doing food reviews for more than eight years has glorified me as a dignified responder. I never would sit here and lie. On multiple occasions I gave you guys the Benefit of the doubt the swiss cheese was sour. My mother in law wanted me to call you a few days ago, but then, after that, she had gotten sick and then my wife the next day began vomiting. I wouldn't doubt the fact that you would be so keen to write some thing like this, as it is very arrogant as the mistakes do happen, and that is a possibility to happen at a place as such as yours or any other restaurant I do not appreciate the kind of attitude I've been given, nor will I take it down. As I state exactly what the absolute truth is. One review it's not going to kill you, but the fact that you're writing and insinuating I should take my review down as a lack of truth, is an embarrassment on your own merit and not mine. One review will not kill you but insinuating something else and as a review such as this it will not tarnish your place. The arrogance of your response would. Have a nice day.
