Hecho en México Restaurante Bluffton SC

This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time. My wife had the chili relleno which was made the correct way with a poblano pepper, cheese and a nice egg batter. I had the “tablita hencho en Mexico, which had two types of beef and chorizo along with the sides. I highly recommend this place! It’s a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. As a sidenote, they had a great looking taco stand outside the front of the restaurant (will try next time)

I wanted tacos, so I stopped by this place on my lunch break. I will be back!! The taco shells were crispy, the meats seasoned well, and the other ingredients were fresh. Just enough spice to remind me of the tacos we would get in San Diego, CA.! I didn't have time to eat in the restaurant, so I ate in the car.

GET HERE PRONTO if you're in the mood for authentic, delicious, and incredible Mexican food! (Even for breakfast!) This place is incredible, has a fantastic atmosphere, food selection, and the staff when we visited was phenomenal as well. FRESH HOMEMADE CHIPS AND TORTILLAS are fantastic and the food is of course delicious. This place is the real deal! I had the Hibiscus Tea ("Té Jamaíca") and Alambre Hecho en Mexico -- delicioso for sure!

Went by at 4:15 p.m. workers inside both restaurant and grocery, both closed...? Website indicates they are open.

If you want the best Mexican food in the area then try here. Hands down best Mexican food, from tacos to Carne asada. Each margarita is made to order and not from a pre mix. 100% must try.

I’m trying this place but it’s the worst place ever I’m ask for menudo it’s a typical Mexican dish but was gross I don’t eat that so I order 2 tacos of barbacoa & was the same the flavor it’s no good looks like when they have leftovers from the week they mixed with the new so the flavor it’s disgusting I really don’t recommend this place if you don’t be from the area don’t waste your time at this place

The food lacks seasoning. Some add-ons feel like food that has been sitting in the fridge for a long time. When I asked for the bill, they did not give me a breakdown of what each item cost and I had to ask for it to verify and the prices did not correspond to what is on their menu (it was more expensive) and the ticket I received seemed to be made alternatively to their software collection and was also illegible.

The best tacos in bluffton

5 stars is not high enough. The chips are homeade, the corn tortillas are homeade, the guacamole was the freshest ive ever had in a resturaunt, and the salsa is out of this world. Amazing authentic food.

Amazing amazing amazing Authentic Mexican restaurant! The food was sooooo tasty. I had a chimichanga and my husband had the fish tacos. The cook even made him two fish and one shrimp to add variety. Quantity was great as well as reasonable prices. The staff were kind and very professional. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere.

The chips are homemade and delicious but the service was awful. I asked for just cheese enchiladas and I got chicken. The waiter never came back to the table. We had to call him over for the check. When I told him my order wasn’t right he just shrugged his shoulders.

Stopped in for lunch on my way to Hilton Head island. Fantastic freshly squeezed margaritas and warm nachos. A take home size chimichanga that are freshly prepared. Best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time!
