Worst Chinese buffet I've ever eaten at. I love a good Chinese buffet for the family to go to. We chose this one based on location. I feel we should have taken the extra time to drive to one of the others 25 minutes away. The hibachi was no better with chicken as the only choice of meat and a few vegetables. I do not recommend. (Weekday dinner prices) $10.99 for kids and 14.99 for adults.

I used to eat here all the time years ago. Used to be great. The quality is way way down, yet the price went up. I ordered water and of course got terrible faucet water, in which I expected. I ordered water because it saves me a few bucks instead of ordering tea or soda. They charged me 3 dollars for the water. 3 dollars? You are not supposed to be charged for water, but at least you should pay less than a standard soda or tea.

I was in a hurry and hungry and have been craving Asian cuisine. I thought this buffet would offer the usual healthy choices and variety. NOT! I should have walked the buffet before accepting a seat and picking up a plate. I arrived about 5:00 p.m. The bar already looked stale, old, and some things were put on the line because they ran out of ideas - hence seafood spaghetti, pimiento sushi, and the list goes on. I can usually find lean protein, sautéed veggies (green beans, broccoli), Singapore noodles, etc, but struck out. I put a teriyaki chicken skewer on my plate and some yakisoba noodles. Chicken skewer was tough and the yakisoba noodles were flavorless and oily. I left without eating and paid the $16.99 because I felt obligated. My beverage was a water. Sanitation and maintenance are clearly not evident. Oh!! They had those grade-school cups of ice cream in a separate freezer for $1 to go only. I am still kicking myself. Never again.

The food is excellent. The service for a buffet is moderate. You don't have to walk around looking for someone to refill your drink, though normally you must flag them down and ask them. They rarely volunteer or notice empty glasses. The atmosphere is Chinese-American.

We have eaten here many times for lunch. Came for early dinner and the staff had most of the dining room closed for cleaning. We were seated, given our drinks, and forgotten. The food was not fresh or hot - at all. It was bad. Dishes had been left and not even stirred to make it appear fresh. The steam table must have been neglected for a long time because the metal around the pans wasn't even warm. On top of inedible, cold, meat dishes, the egg rolls and fried foods most Chinese places do get right, were hours old and cold. Our drinks were never refilled and the guy we paid didn't even look up as we were paying. He knew it was awful and why. You lost good customers with your bad food and bad service. Everyone and every place has off days, but ignoring guests to clean during peak dinner hour is unforgivable.

Great Hot and Sour soup, juicy and fresh spare ribs, crispy and moist chicken wings, Aso egg drop soup, fried shrimp, calamari, a Mongolian stir fry bar where you pick what you want, several hoodle dishes, fried rice etc. Also sushi and fresh fruit. $ 16 each for lunch. Sometimes there are no labels or the labels don't match the dish.

I don’t believe any review that food was great. That are made up reviews by their employees, friends or relatives. The sauce that is supposed to be clear and smooth was brown and very snot like texture. Chicken actually has yellow in it and the egg rolls for sure are not made there. They are definitely frozen then thawed. I am the kind of guy who can just about eat anything and not a picky eater my any means. I just took all the food and tossed in my garbage can after about 3 bites.
I have visited the HHI area for over 25 years, and lived here the last 3 years; I never knew this place existed. I was honestly amazed especially for a buffet. It was hands down one of the best buffets of any kind I've ever been too, and definitely the best Chinese / Japanese one. What makes how good it was even more surprising was we were there at a non-busy time. Everything everyone of us tried (and there were 9 of us) was good to absolutely amazing. There were a few items that were better than what I've had in some of the nicer restaurants around here. It's near Moss Creek, Tanger area, but back off the road. We will definitely be back again.
