Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant

Have gone up too much on prices and now charge you to get a refill of salsa. Service is also not what it used to be. Have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and extremely disappointed. Food is not that great anymore either. Last time chicken wasn’t even completely cooked all the way. Will not be back

The food was terrible, prices are high, and portions are small. There are no prices on beverages, which in turn are made up on the spot. I wouldn't dine there again even if I was given a free meal.
Fajitas were 22.99, which included thin steak that was pounded into submission. The chicken was tasteless and bland with a hint of char. My mother in-laws burrito was a third of the size of any other mexican reataurant.

I'm not sure what some of the positive reviews on here were for but did not reflect my experience.
On a positive note, the waiter was exemplary

Excellent service! Our waiter was very respectful and polite, the food was fantastic, came out hot and fresh. The prices were reasonable, overall I recommend this restaurant!

they would not split something for you, and they charge you for the most stupid little things!!!!!! 1.60 for the smallest side of lettuce ever, this place became a joke, sad

Two steak burritos, $30 look like ground up cat food. The server never wrote anything down had to send the food back two different times even the tacos were made wrong. The shell smell and the meat stunk like fish would not recommend this restaurant to nobody. Even the rice, simple rice was nasty

This used to be our go-to place. Something happened. It used to be jam packed every night of the week and the last two times we've been there, to our benefit, it was slow. And slow is the optimum word.

I'm guessing their excuse would model the excuse of the times... We're understaffed. No surprise there.

What we noticed is that our bill was about 30% higher than a year ago. On top of that the serving size was 30% smaller. $16 for a 5 inch burrito? Really?

It's probably not their fault, they're trying to get by in these horrible economic times.
