Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant

We went here on a recent trip to Hilton Head. It was good. I hate when restaurants don't put drink prices on the menu - usually leads to disappointment when the bill comes (that's what I'll remember most). Really cool town though.

Have gone up too much on prices and now charge you to get a refill of salsa. Service is also not what it used to be. Have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and extremely disappointed. Food is not that great anymore either. Last time chicken wasn’t even completely cooked all the way. Will not be back

The food was terrible, prices are high, and portions are small. There are no prices on beverages, which in turn are made up on the spot. I wouldn't dine there again even if I was given a free meal.
Fajitas were 22.99, which included thin steak that was pounded into submission. The chicken was tasteless and bland with a hint of char. My mother in-laws burrito was a third of the size of any other mexican reataurant.

I'm not sure what some of the positive reviews on here were for but did not reflect my experience.
On a positive note, the waiter was exemplary

Excellent service! Our waiter was very respectful and polite, the food was fantastic, came out hot and fresh. The prices were reasonable, overall I recommend this restaurant!

they would not split something for you, and they charge you for the most stupid little things!!!!!! 1.60 for the smallest side of lettuce ever, this place became a joke, sad

This place was phenomenal! Really tasty. Great portions! I’d come back!

Two steak burritos, $30 look like ground up cat food. The server never wrote anything down had to send the food back two different times even the tacos were made wrong. The shell smell and the meat stunk like fish would not recommend this restaurant to nobody. Even the rice, simple rice was nasty

The best Mexican restaurant!!! Food is rich in flavor, authentic, and fresh! Service was wonderful. Staff is very accommodating. Would recommend anything on the menu. Stellar experience!!!
