Nectar Farm Kitchen Old Town

Based on the reviews, we were excited for our dinner. Unfortunately, we were so disappointed. I ordered the seafood pasta and it was so underseasoned and the sauce was watery. My husband ordered the scallops which were way overcooked and rubbery. His meal came with mashed potatoes which were flavorless and the brussels sprouts were horrid.  We definitely don't plan on coming back. 

We had a party of six, and was happy (I thought) being assigned a booth. In actuality, the booth was uncomfortably too tight (bench-to-table), had table leg obstructions, kand too short to comfortably seat six adults. We were offered a high top, but two in our party find high tops to be uncomfortable. By all means dine at Nectar (especially Sunday brunches outside in the shoulder seasons), but for six adults, avoid the claustrophobia of a bench.

We were a party of 6 and tried here for the first time for my wife's birthday. i recently had shoulder surgery and I am in a sling so I needed to have something I thought I could handle without too much help. I decided fish would be easy since I could cut it with a fork. I ordered fried flounder for $26 which turned out to be a mistake. I could not even make a dent in it with my fork so I asked my wife to cut it. She did the best she could but even with a knife it simply shredded. The fish was very dry and had no flavor. I ate only part of it and mentioned it to our waitress. She called over a manager and I showed her I couldn't even separate it. Her comment was I wish you told me sooner I would have given you another piece. With 6 people I would not have wanted everyone waiting on me while I waited for another piece. Also, if it was served this way the first time I'm not sure I would have wanted another piece. By telling me I should have said something sooner I felt the blame for their mistake was being pushed on me. No other offer was made and I was charged in full. In fairness my wife let me try her short ribs and they were very good. That's what I originally planned to get and it turns out it was easier to cut than the fish. Two of my companions got the short ribs which were good and one got chicken and waffles who also said it was good. The other 3 of us got fish and along with my issue the other two were not impressed with their meal.

This was my first visit to Nectar and my friends and I really enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly and helpful and service was prompt and courteous. I will definitely return!

The food was great and service excellent. I tried something new on this visit and was not disappointed.

Restaurant was excellent they accomadated two changes to our reservation up to 11 people, our server was excellent with a group that big

Good food, interesting menu, good atmosphere, excellent service. A good experience on a cold evening in December!

Nectar is always our go to. Always great food, live music, great location in old town, Bluffton. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Went there for brunch before heading to the airport. The food was excellent. The staff was fantastic. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day and enjoyed cocktails and brunch fare. I had eggs, grits, bacon, and toast, along with a couple of Bloody Mary's. Everything was excellent. Our waiter was professional and courteous. He was very attentive, and handled our group like a real pro. Highly recommend dining here. Will be sure to visit again next year.

This is the greatest restaurant of all time I’m not kidding. All the waiters/waitresses were so nice. The food was absolutely incredible, and the restaurant had super cool vibes. If you are in the area you CANNOT pass up on this place.

Angel was our server and on top of her sparkly personality, she was beyond helpful. I had the duck Benedict and the crab and shrimp grits and the biscuit basket. Excellent beyond excellent! We had plenty to eat and delicious cocktails.

Very clean restaurant. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing! Love going to local places instead of chains.
