Stopped by today down from NY about 4 weeks now I figured I would grab a slice I was in the shopping center I’ve been looking for NYC style since we got down here, this place nailed it on the head. I had a slice to go and it was on the money. I can’t wait to go back and eat the rest of the menu.

New Yorker here. Transplanted a few years now- tried every joint around & nuthin. Most were absolute garbage- don't even know how they stay in business. Til we found this place thanks to some fellow NYers that followed us to the area. Finally something we can actually call pizza? It's on par with alot of places back on LI. We are up in Beaufort but anytime we go down towards Bluffton we grab a pie to go. Like anything else there's some fluctuation in the quality from time to time but overall it's as good as your gonna get South of Jersey. Skip the rest this is the best????

As close as you can get to New York style pizza in the south. Great taste of home when your hundreds of miles away ?

I came in after trying (and failing) to get a sandwich at Which Which (employee would have rather been on their personal cell phone call on speaker).
I asked if they did pizza ‘by the slice’ and the employee was very hostile and unfriendly. It was clear they did not want any business to interfere with their slow day.
I walked out, as it as clear I wasn’t wanted. Bad vibes!

Just had pizza at the Bluffton Buckwalter location. Was this location sold recently and New owners. I ask because the quality, size and toppings are totally different then about 1 month ago. I will try it one more time and then onto a new place. Not sure what happened. The workers are all different not sure where the original workers went.

We were in town for a week and on our last night ordered a pizza to our hotel. Wow! I wish we would have known about it before we had to leave. Whoever makes the crust, keep it up! Amazing pie and fast delivery. We had it for breakfast too! Thanks!

My review is primarily focused on their ability to handle a party of 15 with an advanced reservation, which primarily ordered dinners. Despite the fact that their website touts they can handle parties of up to 70, they were overwhelmed. From the bar to the kitchen it was extremely disappointing. The only thing served in a timely fashion was a salad and 1 pizza. BTW, the rest of the restaurant was not busy at all. What irritated me the most was what appeared to be a woman manager, basically sitting at the bar the entire time offering little or no help to the overwhelmed staff. The chick marsala was good, the remainder of the dishes, served one by one over an hour or more, were at best fair. For dessert we wanted to order cannolis. They had only one for us to split. If you wish to dine there, keep it simple, pizza and beer.

This was one of our favorite local lunch spots, but the staff changed, so we started going on different days to hopefully get the better staff. The last time we visited was the last time I will ever visit. The server was not only rude, but nasty to another diner nearby. The food is overpriced and mediocre.
Staffing is the worst there, specifically one server. Amber. Terrible establishment. The turnover rate is never a good thing either. I would not go there nor would I respect the manager who came in & disrespected me & my friends after their server verbally assaulted me to say I need to leave. My four friends & I came there and had menus after being sat, which was “sit wherever”. Mind you the pizza guy was passive aggressive also & talked very rudely. I have prior issues with Amber being she had me deposit a $1,036 check into my acct via mobile from Nycp to give her the money since she couldn’t get a bank acct. I sent it to her via cash app & she deposited it somewhere in Hampton behind my back when I had asked her to write void. I looked at my acct & contacted amber as I had trusted her at the time & low & behold she ignored the situation. I took it into my own hands & contacted the owners of NYCP & they are the ones who gave me the information that it had been cashed. My bank then said it would take time to find out why..a couple days later, showed duplicate presentation & went as far as finding out what bank she had it cashed at. Unfortunately, the check had bounced in which I contacted the managers as I was working there & just wanted it to be made right but she continues to lie even though we all really who who she is. She still to this day hasn’t paid me back but continues you to talk about the way people tip her & so forth. I wonder why. She got not only my hard working money but she got her check as well. Also to be honest, I didn’t even want to go to this restaurant but my friends said I want pizza & it was the closest to us. Terribly ran, horrible staff hired needless to say. Experience it yourself, do NOT recommend going at ALL! If you do, save yourself the drive & go to Buckwalter NYCP. Jessica, the manager, has always taken care of me whereas Natalie, the one at Belfair does not & always states that’s the Belfair store is hers as if she owns the spot, which she does not. She is extremely rude to employees as I’ve experienced it myself & so have others. Sotake my advice, try another pizza spot such as the BUCKWALTER location in Nycp, Giuseppe’s, Local Pie, or Uppercrust. Much better service and quality of food.
