Food and service were excellent. The bar area was very noisy so we sat in the area off to one side.

We went during restaurant week and the service and food was excellent. The only issue is that only had one menu selection for restaurant week. At least one more choice would have been appreciated.

The food is pretty good - we expecially enjoy the sushi when available (Sushi chef visits monthly) Drinks are good and service is very good. We expecially enjoy eatig at the bar when it's just my husband and I.

Had we not had a prior visit that was a much better experience, we wouldn't have as disappointed as we were, especially after raving about it to our out of town guests. Rather than the (empty) main dining room we were seated in the bar area, which was noisy. The main room was still empty when we left. They seemed to be short staffed, not the same level of service as prior. (maybe due to private event in another area?). 2 of us ordered 2nd drinks, which didn't arrive until desserts (which were great). Also curious why Blantons was $20 more a glass than at Micheal Anthony's. Wife's oyster app were small and unflavorful. The rest of the table enjoyed their choices. Small sample size, not enough to discourage trying again. Hoping for better.

Cozy spot for a dinner. Service was inconsistent. Sometimes the server was there too soon, sometimes we were left looking around for her. Seemed like her tables were really spread out and we were near the entrance, at the end of a row of tables with one other table so it might have been hard for her to see us. The food was good, but very expensive. Two dinners (chicken and salmon,) one shared appetizer (cauliflower,) two glasses of one of their lowest priced wines were more than $80 per person. All this in what essentially feels like an grill atmosphere, not a fine dining atmosphere. Probably would only come back if we knew we were just getting a burger or salad. Buffalo's down the street is comparable food-at least the last time we went there- for more reasonable prices. Lastly and not super important we were there for a birthday. We were asked in the res process if we were there for a specific occasion so Octagon knew we were there for a birthday but it was not recognized in any way. Not really a big deal because we don't like a fuss but don't ask me if it you don't intend to do anything about it.

Michael H was our bartender and he was very kind and patient with us as we made decisions and we appreciate that. Then Kevee was our waitress and she was super sweet and phenomenal. Was patient with us and was super sweet and just a good person to talk with. They made my wife's birthday really special and sweet and would highly recommend the peanut butter pie. that was the best we've had ever.

Very disappointing, the room was loud and not very comfortable, food was certainly nothing special and service was mediocre

They do not accommodate hotel guest so if you're booking at the hotel do not expect to get a table. We had to drive 25 minutes to get food. We walked down at 530 and they couldn't get us a table until 8. Would not recommend staying at the hotel if you can't even get dinner at the resort.

Lunch yesterday with some friends was delightful. Food was very good. Sam our server was very attentive and a joy. Holiday decorations spectacular. Willingham from the front desk was kind enough to take our picture in front of the Christmas tree. We will always have wonderful memories from our holiday lunch. We are locals and cant wait to return.

So so good! We ate at Octagon twice during our stay at the Montage and both times - 10/10!! I'd definitely recommend and we will be back.

Beautiful place to discover We had a very nice evening. Everyone was welcoming and attentive to the guests. We had a drink at the bar (their house infused pineapple jalapeno tequila is really good) Then we were showed to our table and Autumn was our server. She was amazing with her knowledge of the menu and wine pairing! The overall attention to details from the staff was worthy of 5* hotels like the Four Seasons etc.. The food was really good! The oysters are worth the visit! Their pimento hush puppies were a stand out as the shrimp and grits. My tuna appetizer was a bit underwhelming. I would rethink that one. Price wise is as expected in this kind of environment and experience

Food was great and served as asked. Three of us had the salmon and all were cooked as suggested. Dessert was amazing.
