Pour Richard’s is a neighborhood gem worth shout about! Friendly, inviting and five star food! Tonight the Watermelon and Shrimp Gazpacho were a combo that hit all the notes from savory, acidic to a sweet burst of flavor. The African Pompano was beautifully moist and seasoned to perfection with a five spice seasoning. It was accompanied by “spider rice” - a wonderful rice filled with shredded soft shelled crab, over a bed of perfectly seasoned and sautéed spinach. But that’s not all! The Chocolate Martini (chocolate milk for adults) was the best I’ve ever had - and that’s saying something! We split the sandbar dessert - okay, I forgot the name, but the taste was definitely one I will remember for a long, long time - and a strawberry Chantilly cake - both were exceptional. It was a Foodie’s dream night! Thank you Richard and Ally for an amazing evening!

Had dinner tonight. Was pretty good. Onion soup was great but not hot. Also had Surf and Turf flank steak was perfect but cold shrimp had a metallic taste - poor presentation. Also green beans were undercooked. Hefty bill for just ok food! Great staff

We, just this evening, ate our first meal at Pour Richard's. The wait staff was attentive and personable. The food was delicious. My favorite part? - How they treated my elderly Mother and Aunt with the respect these fine ladies deserved. Thank you.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Hilton Head / Bluffton!!! The wait staff is top notch, the food is amazing and the drinks are delicious. Desserts are homemade and you must save room for the chess pie. You will not be disappointed!!

We arrived at Pour Richard's at 8:15PM on 11/29/23 (their website said they closed at 9:30PM) and WERE TURNED AWAY because they said they were short staffed. We were a party of two and there were several others already having dinner. How about... allowing us to choose from a limited menu? Or a sign on the door? Or just shutting down? --- why were others eating dinner and why were we turned away? Bad business. Will never return and hope that others read this review.
We went to dinner on Saturday night and have frequented the restaurant many times over the years. We thought the food was excellent as usual but has become overpriced for what was served. We had good service, no complaints. I did not appreciate the upcharge for large ice cubes as well as the fee to pay with a credit card.

This restaurant was highly recommended, so we decided to check it out. The atmosphere was not inviting but thought if the food was good it would be worth a try. Also very pricy. My husband ordered the rib eye steak ($64), very mediocre. I ordered blackened grouper which was way overcooked and not much seasoning on it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! Also the restaurant was very empty which should have been a clue.

Finally made a reservation for dinner. Our server Leah was phenomenal going over the menu and guiding us in the right direction. I went with the dry aged ribeye. Absolutely fabulous! We were all pleased with our meals and service. Wish we would have come sooner but we’ll definitely return on a regular basis.
