We visited Hilton Head/Bluffton/Beaufort area for a few days from New York City and had a list of places to go. Unfortunately we didn't make it to all but we did stop by Red Stripes and babyyyy, we were glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious and totally unexpected. Jamaican cuisine is not something every one can do, native or not, but the owner and the chefs at the Bluffton location exactly what they're doing. The food, drinks, and service was impeccable. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!

My husband and I decided to stop by during our vacation. We love Jamaican food and this place was incredible. The jerk chicken was great. The service was great as well!
Update:the pot stickers yall omgg, Ezra puts his foot in that joint♥️?I can’t believe I’ve lived here almost all my life and just now tried this place. Super quaint ambiance, Marley playing and a nice tree shaded outdoor setup. I got the drunken chicken, Mac and cheese and collards. My aunt got the jerk chicken, Mac and cheese and the Caribbean slaw. We were both very happy, but we swapped chickens bc the jerk was too spicy for her (I was very glad to trade). We agreed that both of the vegetable sides were a bit heavy on the vinegar, but were still delicious. The collards were also missing that smoky flair since they are vegan, but again, I still ate them all and was happy! Both of our chicken breasts literally fell off of the bone, and were juicy and packed with flavor. I sucked the seasoning off the jerk chicken bones and my lips got a bit tingly!?will be back and often!

We went in after a long day at the office for much needed reset. We were greeted with a warm and genuine welcoming. Our waiter was more than great and just had that feeling of that cousin setting a plate. The food was great, drinks on point and needless to say… Well be back.#Respect

Wow. The Ackee and Saltfish reminds me of my grandmothers home cooking. I’ve been to both locations and the staff seemed happy, healthy and were nice.

I wish I could give more stars! This place is beyond amazing. To start, the food is delectable and authentic. The wings always amaze me with the flavor and how well cooked they are. So tender and delicious. I usually go for the curry chicken as my meal, but my husband likes to try different dishes and they have all been incredible. The cocktails are also unique and delish with an island flair. Next- the ambiance. A little piece of Jamaica in the lowcountry. Relaxed, quaint, clean, and a good vibe all around. And finally the reason we will always keep coming back- the service is top tier! The owner and family are absolutely amazing. Such hard working, kind, and down to earth people. They will make sure you are taken care of. They are genuine, courteous, and stand as the epitome for great service. They’ve cultivated quite an amazing establishment! Can’t wait for our next visit. Yeah mon!!!
