Salty Dog Bluffton Restaurant and Pizza

The food was terrible the hush puppy's tasted like unglazed cake pops and the waiter keep trying to get us to leave after an hour.

One of the worst meals I have ever had and definitely the worst fish and chips I have ever had. The fish batter had zero seasoning on it, and the fish smell too fishy for me, Which is never a good sign. The coleslaw was the worst I’ve ever had. I don’t know what sauce they put on it, but it was not good. The fries were basic with little to no seasoning at all And the hush puppies again the worst. They were bland dough balls. The only thing that tasted normal and good was the Tartar sauce. Even something was wrong with the fountain Coke.

There are so many places to eat in the area. I don’t know why anyone would choose to have a horrible meal. If you want a lower end touristy meal, go to crazy crab. It’s better than this place..

Went for a lunch, that was actually my first meal of the day.
The hostess took issue with the fact that I wanted to sit in another area, vs where she was going to seat me at. You are allowed to say no to patrons; I would’ve been ok with that vs her attitude.

A table sat after me got their drink orders first; I’m assuming that hostess didn’t tell the waiter I was sitting there.

My server was kind; I liked him. He was a little slow though and it wasn’t busy.

The food itself was okay; I got a smash burger bowl. I would have liked to have more protein vs so much lettuce/french fries.

All in all, I won’t make an effort to go to Salty Dog but I would go if I were strolling around the outlets (very rare!)

I had the mushroom & swiss burger and it was outstanding! My sister had ordered the French fries and they were excellent. Salty Dog has a great Gluten Free menu, too. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful! We'll be back soon.

We did a take-out order and the “Angry Hawaiian” Pizza was amazing! A must stop on your Hilton Head vacation!

Food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Definitely a convenient stop after a hot weather shopping experience at the outlets. Greeted with a smile by Kady Ann and GK and Najeed provided great service. Worth the stop!

No complaints on the food at all. Unfortunately, the service was rather slow and our meals came out at different times (about 10 min apart). It was a busy lunch time so I can understand a little slower service but the food timing and overall delay to even take a drink order knocked the experience down some.

We had their burger specials which were fabulous!! My wife and I enjoyed it very much the staff were very friendly and helpful, and they made it very special when it came to our dog that was a companying us. They made sure his needs were meant and gave him plenty of water salty dog bowl to drink out of. I would highly recommend this restaurant they haven't been there I personally don't feel you would be disappointed.
