A sure go to restaurant when traveling through South Carolina. Great food and friendly folks make for a welcoming spot for the weary traveler! I highly recommend Squat and Gobble Restaurant. We were happy to find it in our travels.

TO BE CLEAR: I have never been here before. DO I INTEND TO? NO. THIS PLACE, even the mention of its name fills me with a sense of overwhelming dread and nausea. DRIVING BY IT ON THE ROADS, I shudder in terror and hide in the chasms of the car to escape the sighting of one of my worst nightmares. I’ve had intuitive dreams warning me of the HORRORS that will await me if I so choose to venture into this establishment. I WOULD RATE THIS 0 stars, even a negative 10 if I could, but alas, such wonders are not possible. I WOULD GO SO FAR as to say that the “establishment” is in some way connected to the South China Sea. I can’t explain, but my intuition is NEVER WRONG. Please avoid this…this abomination and have a blast NOT GOING to this so called restaurant. Thanks.

We love this place. Service is excellent and very friendly. We have eaten there several times and love to bring visiting friends. We will be back. When is not busy, you need to stop the sign in policy. I understand when you are busy you need to sign ín.

For the area seems like decent prices and good portion size. I would also recommend the cinnamon roll as many others have. Fun signs all throughout the restaurant. The home fries seasoning was interesting. They have real butter. I hope to be back!
