“My favorite place! This restaurant has amazing food, the kindest employees, beautiful decor, and the menu is super clean. My family is vegan and we had plenty of options (gasp!) and my parents aren’t vegan and they had plenty of options also! Their teas are amazing, you can ask for no sugar added, which is a huge plus. And they have a dressing that is gluten free- the sweet gotchu- and it’s loaded with flavor. I cannot recommend this place enough.“

“Travelled down to see some family and came in when it was rather busy but the serving staff was on top of their game!
With a bustling atmosphere, I remember his name was Jake, didn’t let my drink go empty. He made sure I was satisfied with the quality of my sushi and had even asked if I had any allergic restrictions which most places don’t do. He was kind, swift, and sweet! The host at the door, I believe her name is Joceline, was very friendly and swiftly sat us down with no problem, even retrieving a high chair for my niece. 11/10 would dine here again!“

“Japan House in Spartanburg has a unique side items menu delightful to order from and easy to substitute for a meal. Baked mussels, tempura shrimp, and noodles are just a few of the delicious sides available. I prefer their egg rolls to most of the restaurants in the area. Their tempura vegetables include a broccoli, mushroom, onion, sweet potato, cauliflower, and squash, and the vegetable pieces are oversized, tasty, and filling. Gyoza dumplings are an A-one choice. Less favorite options include calamari, spring rolls, and Miso soup. Think about spending around thirteen dollars on side items to mix and match enough for dinner. This does not include the price of a drink.“

“Better than other hibachi restaurants!
I was so impressed with the quality ingredients they use.
Price is very reasonable.
When I had a first bite of steak, it's so tender and juicy!
Fried rice is very good too! I can tell that this place is using high quality rice. (Usually other hibachi restaurants are using lowest price long grain rice)
I definitely recommend this restaurant and you'll enjoy the meal for sure!“

“Best Sushi I've ever had tbh!! their scallop bowl is killer and their prices are amazingly reasonable!! I absolutely love this place. Only downside is they do not have gift cards. My mom knew this was my favorite place so she tried to get me a gift card for mother's day and they don't have them😭.“
