Very unassuming from the outside, but this place gives you a local feel when you walk inside. This is one of those places that everyone that walks in is family. I had the fried oysters and fries, I was amazed that someone actually knew how to cook fries correctly, OMG they were good and the oysters were done just right as well. Being new in town my cousin and I decided to visit Evelyn’s Diner, what a shock, fresh tomatoes with my BLT, the hash browns and grits are delicious! I’ve been eating there mostly take out and I love the food! I’ve never had to wait it’s always hot and ready, I want to try a weekend special?! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Located in my hometown this little restaurant will absolutely have you had over heels! The Patty melts are to die for they have a special everyday! If you like good southern homestyle cooking then you have reached your destination.
