Wonderful! Authentic. My husband bought meats, breads and cheeses for a birthday celebration that was truly amazing. Worth a day trip if you live in Charleston or Columbia. Get your foods and go take a picnic in the area.

Driving backroads and wandered through Brunson. Almost didn't stop, but so glad we did. Had a great lunch of Pasta Bolognese and wife had Lasagna. Both great, but the lasagna was out of this world! Had a couple of great German beers and fresh homemade bread. Great service. Rest of menu looked and sounded great also. Plan to go back sometime and try the German food....... and the pizza....... and a few more beers.

Southerners complain if there is no coleslaw, hush puppies or fried chicken and are mentally opposed to anything foodly different. Great place for non-southern food with authentic euro-ethnic recipes. It is 5 stars excellent for that reason. Michelin Star- probably not but kudos anyway! It is not haute cuisine but for an enjoyable plate of Weiner Schnitzel with roasted rosemary potatoes(that I had), there is no better for 50 miles around.
