There’s plenty of free parking right out front, and when you step inside you’ll find a spacious, welcoming dining room that immediately feels comfortable and unpretentious. You can order from the regular menu, and they also offer daily and weekly specials that give you plenty of reasons to keep coming back.

I went with the cheeseburger and crinkle-cut fries, and it hit exactly the way a great diner burger should. The burger is hand-formed and made in-house, juicy and well-seasoned, with that classic homemade taste you just don’t get everywhere anymore. The crinkle-cut fries were hot, crisp, and familiar in the best way.

One thing that really stood out is the variety of fry options. They don’t just stop at one style — you can choose from multiple types, including their “raw fries,” which are basically thin, crispy potato chips made fresh. “I didn't eat any food. I'm not even sure food was available. Rod was the bartender. Nice guy. Even after I told them I'm a Democrat, they were still pleasant. One did ask if I was deprived of oxygen. ? I appreciate their humor. I felt like I was the youngest person there. No hippies. Will return!”
