The food was really good. I do have to say that the hush puppies for a little bit weird. They were shaped like an onion ring and had too much cornmeal for my taste. The service was mediocre. Our waiter was friendly enough but when we asked for ketchup, he bought a massive and full of ketchup packets. I'm not sure what was going on, whether they ran out of ketchup for the bottles or what, I just found it a little bit odd that customers were expected to open packet after packet....
First time here. We got all fried food. Perch, Whiting, Alaskan White, and Scallops. It was all tasty. Baked potato, slaw, mixed vegetables all good. Round hush puppies great. Service was friendly and prompt... Got a personal explanation of some menu items from the owner John. Highly recommend chatting with him about your choices. We will come back.
