I’ve been here several times…I think the food is really good and the portions are reasonable…but lately it seems like they’ve been a little heavy handed with the salt..the mac and cheese to the oxtails to the chicken tastes like it simply has too much salt. When I pick up my order at night on the weekends it always seems like a vibe but it looks like someone’s living room. The ambiance is not appeasing and I’d never want to eat there..especially on a weekend night.
This is my second time here and both times has been great. I’m born and raised here in Cayce, so I love the vibe and location! Props to the chef fr. My first visit I got jerk chicken, Mac, and collards. No complaints. This time I got the Rasta pasta, excellent flavor but a lil messy which is ok! I love spicy food and honestly expected it to be spicier but it still had great flavor. The people there are welcoming and security makes me feel safe! The parking could be a slight...
