The food was absolutely delightful. My husband and I came for lunch on 10/2 and truly enjoyed every bite of our meal. The ginger beer may be strong for some, but I loved it, and the passion fruit drink was great as well. We ordered the curried goat and stew chicken with rice, cabbage, and a side of plantains. I think my husband had potatoes and curried gravy too. Mannnn, it was delicious! I will say that if you don’t mind waiting for spectacular food, it’s worth the wait. The young lady working may have been thugging it out alone, but she handled it well. We will be back soon. Thank you so much for the meal and hospitality!!!

This is an absolute jewel. I was tired and traveling a little ways downtown . I wanted a red snapper. No sides, just snapper to take home. My cousin recommended this establishment. OMG!! They delivered. I got a whole fried snapper and 2 red snapper filets. The establishment has a quaint decor, very clean and the owner and chef were very nice. I will definitely he coming back to do inside dining.

We stopped by on our bike ride and the place was super inviting and the girl that took our order was amazing nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. A definitely must try, the food was totally amazing and authentic. We actually met the owner, and she was super sweet and friendly! We definitely loved her place.

I went with a friend from Trinidad who eats there anytime she’s in town. I was not disappointed! Very nice atmosphere, service was impeccable and the FOOD!!! Large portions of DELICIOUSNESS! I had the oxtails, rice and peas, plantain and sorrel. My friend had curry shrimp, cabbage and I honestly don’t remember her other side or drink (I was too busy working on dem tails). I’m actually eating leftovers as I write this and I’ll still have leftovers tomorrow. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Tried the vegetable plate (a choice of three sides) for my first visit—it was excellent! Their portions are HUGE. I’ll get two meals out of one plate! Fantastic atmosphere and there’s nothing like supporting small business 💛 I do recommend asking for your order double-bagged if you take it to go since the clamshell is stuffed full 😉
