We’ve been going to central sweets for years and have seen different management/ownership. We’ve always enjoyed it but in the past year or so we LOVE it! Savory New Zealand Pies at an ice cream shop sounds odd, but let me tell you… THEY ARE SO FREAKING GOOD! We have had them day of reheated and have had them after they sat in the fridge a day or two and they are delicious either way. Think Chicken Pot Pie but better than any you’ve had before and at a fair price! The pies and the customer service truly set them a part. They are a small town shop and you feel that when you’re there, such a personal experience every time.

The owners are fabulous. They were very helpful in us deciding what we really wanted to eat. They assured us our first choice, the chicken pot pie, was excellent. They weren't wrong. It was absolutely delicious. Will go back for it again. Will also try the others.

We love Central Sweets and Savory! The ice cream is great, the candy iss amazing and the baked goods are very tasty! The hand pies are such a unique food and the are delicious. My favorite is the spinach but I have not had any that I did not like. The owners are very nice people and the staff is very friendly. The hot chocolate is great, too

I brought my family here for dinner and ice cream. First of all the pastries are excellent, flakey and crunchy, the chicken one was a favorite. After dinner all my kids had a fun time selecting from the large number of options for ice cream! highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful experience and ice cream!! Me and my son Max go in often and they always ask how we are and have become our friends as well as a staple in our town!!! 5 star all day! Also, their spinach pies are crazy good

The sweet owner was so accommodating to me and my daughter! First time visitors with food allergies and she just made us feel like old friends! It can be stressful to go out to eat anything when you have food issues but she made us feel right at home & was so knowledgeable! Of course the buckeyes and the ice cream were perfection! We will be back! Go tigers!
We just tried central sweets hand made pies and the chocolate coconut cake. We will 100% be back for more. The pasty was flaky and buttery while holding in all of the delicious fillings! The cake was so light and delicious I crave more of it already! I am so glad we have them on mainstreet!

Don't miss it. The meat pie was delicious and my wife had a spinach and ricotta roll. Hand-made pastry steals the show. I was a fan of Louisiana meat pies and now I'm a fan of the New Zealand meat pie via Central Sweets. Enjoy!
