We’ve been going to central sweets for years and have seen different management/ownership. We’ve always enjoyed it but in the past year or so we LOVE it! Savory New Zealand Pies at an ice cream shop sounds odd, but let me tell you… THEY ARE SO FREAKING GOOD! We have had them day of reheated and have had them after they sat in the fridge a day or two and they are delicious either way. Think Chicken Pot Pie but better than any you’ve had before and at a fair price! The pies...
The owners are fabulous. They were very helpful in us deciding what we really wanted to eat. They assured us our first choice, the chicken pot pie, was excellent. They weren't wrong. It was absolutely delicious. Will go back for it again. Will also try the others.
We love Central Sweets and Savory! The ice cream is great, the candy iss amazing and the baked goods are very tasty! The hand pies are such a unique food and the are delicious. My favorite is the spinach but I have not had any that I did not like. The owners are very nice people and the staff is very friendly. The hot chocolate is great, too
