Food was good. Just a good old neighborhood restaurant with drinks. A hole in the wall place. I think it’s what Chapin has been missing since Knocky’s closed. Includes expanded menu and adult beverages.
100/10 always recommend the shack. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! For our family of 6 with four kiddos, it’s always a relaxing incredibly delicious dinner! The “meat sweats” pizza, the fish and chips, garlic cheese bread, salted caramel cheesecake, spicy Bloody Mary and delicious ranch! You literally cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! Stopped on road trip based on reviews and directions. Good food, lots of variety. Staff was wonderful.

The Shack is a restaurant and bar that is not a chain location. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is perfect. Meals are hot when they reach the table and plentiful, and the portion size is good for the money. Service is fast. The mozzarella bricks are absolutely incredible, and the Blue cheese pecan celery sticks are delicious and perfect presented. The BBQ chicken pizza is delicious. The Chicken sandwich with fries is enjoyable, and the Clucking Hen is a fried chicken sandwich with fries. The fish and chips are highly recommended, and the chips are very well seasoned and delicious. The battered cod was bland and soggy. Some felt warm inside. The Shack is a great spot.
