Beautiful surroundings first class service and Charleston’s finest food. Fresh mint ice tea, crab cake appetizer, blackened Grouper and pralines and cream for dessert. The perfect culinary blend.

The food was okay, but not as delicious as in other places. The atmosphere is simple, casual.

Fiancée and I Went to 82 Queen for our Valentine’s Day dinner last night. We had a reservation at 5:45. Everything was going really well and we enjoyed our night. The service was fantastic and our server was extremely kind. I ordered the lowcountry seafood gumbo and loved my order. My fiancee ordered the wagyu beef steak. The meal was fine, until the next day.. my fiancée has been puking nonstop since ~4:00am. We believe that she is suffering from food poisoning and that she received food poisoning from 82 queen. The Wagyu steak was the the only meal she had consumed the entire day, with exception of a coffee and small snack for brunch. This is really unfortunate because we really enjoyed our night at 82 queen but sadly don’t think we could ever go back.

We arrived early to reservations, sat at the bar. We had the best service there, once we arrived at our table our waitress came to say I see you already have your drinks. We did order a bottle of wine. I had to flag her over to get our appetizer ordered, it came out within 10 minutes. We waited another 15 for waitress to order our entrée it was well over an hour before we received it, mine waa not warm at all. Steak was cold and mashed potatoes Luke warm. I only took one bite.. I asked for manager, told him the problem..noted.. my plate was already removed from the table. He said I ate over 50% of my meal, I took 1 bite told waitress ir was cold. Was ignored until I asked for manager. He wanted to only give me a 15% off. The meal. I didnt eat it so therefore I shouldn't pay for it at all. Our tab was 84.06 and my husband left 100.00. I wouldnt of left a tip at all. Poor service and poor management

I was so excited to come here because I have heard it’s the oldest restaurant in Charleston and people just rave about it but I’m very disappointed in my experience. My friend and I were running late so I do appreciate their flexibility in pushing back our reservation an hour. Since we were running so late my friend I looked at the menu online so we’d be able to order ASAP. We were greeted and sat very quickly it is definitely a cute aesthetic to walk through and have a meal at. It however was so insanely cold the whole time. Our server did come up to us quickly and we asked if we could go ahead and place our whole order and so we did. My friend started with a she crab soup and then we both ordered the chicken biscuit for brunch. My friends soup came out quickly but then it took 35-40 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. After I think 30 minutes I asked our server if we could go ahead and pay since we saw he was busy and then asked if he could check on our food. We paid and then he quickly came back to tell us that they’re melting the cheese right now so it will be right out. It came out and somehow after waiting that long our food was cold. I honestly don’t know if it’s because of how cold the restaurant was or maybe the wait of the melting of the cheese but it was such a left down. The chicken was fried perfectly and it tasted really good but a cold meal ruins that. We had already paid and fed up at this point we just ate enough to have some food in our stomachs and left. A million cute restaurants in Charleston all with amazing food I just wouldn’t come back here based off this experience.

Lauren at 82 Queen was wonderful to work with while coordinating our rehearsal dinner. She made the planning process easy, the room we reserved was perfect, and the food was excellent. Everything went smoothly, and it was a great start to our wedding weekend. Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious, I was here for my anniversary on 01/17 our server was wonderful cracking jokes since we got there to the time we left, food was some of the best I’d ever had. I had the fish and grits the sauce was delicious but the grits could have carried the dish all on its own. My girl had the Filet Mignon and she eats enough steak to put a ranch out of business, and she said it was the best she’d ever had, along with that the mashed potatoes were to die for. For starts we had it was either pork or beef cheek(memory’s not the best) it was delicious would recommend eleven out of tens times. We loved the atmosphere, food, workers, everything. They even left us a little card.

5-stars all the way around! We were there for a friend’s birthday celebration and everything was perfect. The apps and mains were delectable, drinks paired well with the food, service was amazing (our server Sara was so attentive and personable), and the atmosphere was inviting! I would return here anytime and will recommend this to anyone visiting Charleston!
