Avoid this place at all costs, the bouncers are unbelievably rude and have an equivalent training to a six year old, I would rather give my money to uptown or burns, if u are thinking about going here, please reconsider

I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the bouncers and I would have to agree, they were very rude and egotistical. Vibe was a bit too fratty for me but the drinks were good and cheap.

Bouncers are terrible. Young kid with a mullet told our group of about 20 (middle age bankers) we couldn’t come in due to being a “liability”. All stone cold sober, just leaving dinner nearby. No worries though, The Cocktail Club gladly welcomed out $2500 tab…staff screwing the owners.
Best Philly in town!!!

Love this place! Everyone that works there has always been so nice. When I was on crutches they would always let me skip the long line, even when I started walking in a boot.

Been going to this place for 20+ years. My uncle used to do sound back when they did shows.
This place is a mess now. Underage adults seem to be given priority while the bouncers have no idea how to distinguish real from fake IDs.
Just absolute disrespect. I was told not to return and we and many people will not. Good luck catering to the underage frat and sorority crowd when I remember this place as a staple of King Street. Absolutely embarrassing.

The bouncer, I believe his name was Andrew was extremely rude. We left before even going inside.

Not only were the bouncers rude, they were rude without merit. If you’re going to take a stance make sure you’re in the right. They don’t know the difference between fake and legal out of state ID’s and meet you with toxic masculinity when you hold your ground. I am 25 years old, have never had an issue with my ID in my life and was asked to never come back after defending my claim of a real ID especially when I’m sure there were underage individuals inside. They also had no way to verify real ID’s, no scanner, it was just personal judgement. I tried to verify my ID with a cop the bar and although she remained impartial she assured me that this was a regular occurrence with this establishment. Not to mention, said bouncer, ANDREW was easily younger than me and just seemed pompous and uneducated, the only argument they stuck to was they could lay the law because it was a private establishment (who won’t allow of age patrons).

Bouncers were extremely rude and need educated cannot tell the difference between a legal and a fake id. Not to mention they have bad breath.

Bouncers were extremely rude. They couldn’t identify a legal ID from a different state and handle situations so poorly. Would’ve left zero stars if I could. They need to be educated.

Dive bar with sports and pool. Reminds me of a slightly better college bar. Handful of beer bottle/cab options for $3-$5 and seltzers. Pretty clean but I arrived early in the night. Service was quick.
