The ambiance is great! The food is good, however way OVERPRICED!!! For 2 pork chops, 2 servings of mashed potatoes, and a dessert that we shared $177! For that price I’d expect a salad and bread basket! Service was outstanding.

Had a really great experience at Anson- food and service were both excellent. Highly recommend the lobster escargot - it was a special for the day but im guessing it is offered periodically.

Shoutout to our server Paul who was courteous and attentive!

We had a fabulous dining experience last evening. Our server guided us through the menu and all of the recommendations were exceptional. The arugula salad with fig was delicious. The grouper entree was superb, cooked/seasoned to perfection. You must have the pecan pie for dessert. It is the best pecan pie we ever tasted and we r foodies! The wine list had a great variety and the bottles were reasonably priced. We had the OShaussney Cabernet which was excellent.

Can I give it 10 stars? Incredible experience from start to finish. Our waiter was funny and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the filet of ribeye. My husband had the pork chop and our friend had the grouper. OUTSTANDING. Be sure to leave room for dessert because the pecan pie is something I will be dreaming about for years to come. This will be first on our list for dinner next time we are here.

Disappointing experience eating here. While the atmosphere on the second floor was very pretty, I personally did not care for the she-crab soup as it had many pieces of seasoning in it which were hard. I understand some people may like this but it did not appeal to me. The entree was tasty but quite expensive and the value for the money was lacking. They charged 3 dollars for extra parmesan cheese which seemed weird given that the entrees were over 45 dollars. Also felt the waitstaff was kind of rude. Much better experience eating at Hanks across the street.
