Pumpkin white chocolate scone was amazing. Very nice staff.

Not wanting to be rude, but I think they don’t know what an Espresso is. It’s a nice place but the coffee is one of the worst I ever had.

Frozen mint lemonade is so pleasant and satisfying on a hot Charleston day! I would highly recommend! Ice teas also come with a free refill! I personally like adding some peppermint syrup to my iced teas.

We stopped by on our trip to Charelston. I made sure to stop by again before heading to the airport.
The location is great! Close by to other tourist spots and within walking distance to the hotel we stayed at. The shop was adorable inside and the coffee was good. My absolute favorite was the scone. I believe it was chocolate espresso and it changed the scone game for me. I went on my trip in July, it's now mid August and I just brought up the scone to my husband again while looking at scones in our local coffee shop in MN. Another spot I'd stop by again if I'm back in Charelston!

Amazing service, freshly made food, and wonderful coffee! One of the best atmospheres for a coffee shop on the peninsula!

Food is fine. Espresso-based drinks are not sized properly. I was asked what size cappuccino I wanted, so if good espresso matters to you keep looking!

Might have been an off day but the young man in the place when we got there was more interested in his loud music about male private parts being twisted. We almost just walked out but a young women arrived who at least talked nicely. Coffee was ok but well overpriced for how the place appeared. We unfortunately ordered a sandwich that was taken out of the display case and half warmed…a bit disappointing for a $10 sandwich. At least we didn’t eat much and had room for a good dinner later somewhere else.

My first time in Charleston just recently. I came across The Bakehouse after the free bus dropped me off. Had a cup of tea which was really tasty and asked both staff for some dinner recommendations - they were both happy to oblige and super friendly!

Fantastic latte and blueberry muffins. Our Barista Ethan was wonderful. He offered many great suggestions for sightseeing. He definitely embodies the spirit of southern hospitality!

Hot sandwiches were cold in the center, deserts were cold, smoothie was just ice and syrup. Kind if dirty.
