Bar George on James Island is the best bar to visit. The owners and bartenders are friendly and talented. The small place gets busy, but the service, food, and drinks are all excellent. Popular dishes include chicken, Greek hotdog, and fried grits, with the hotdog being a standout. The retro decor and open kitchen create a great atmosphere, with fantastic cocktails like the Spanish Fly and house dirty martini. Oysters and salads are highly recommended.
