Absolutely amazing experience. The cocktails were unique, imaginative, and delicious. The ramen and pork rice were beautifully presented and even better tasting. The staff was efficient, patient, laid back, and very friendly. Even got a mini tour of the kitchen and met the back of the house. I cannot wait to go back. Only recommendation: make merch that says “Send Noods” because I want a shirt!

Reaching out about a frustrating experience at Weens Ramens aka Bar Weems just recently. Your sign says “seat yourself.” When I walked in, a seat was available and I was about to take it, but a staff member stopped me and said there were customers waiting in line to be seated. That’s confusing, but I complied and waited. While waiting, I watched staff seat others ahead of us, including bypassing about three customers who were clearly waiting for spots. I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Even the customers who were waiting for a seat were frustrated at me for following your basic rule. I’m also concerned about fairness, because the pattern of who got seated next didn’t match the line.
Be certain with your seating policy and Could you clarify what you’ll do to prevent guests from being skipped???
I enjoy good ramen, but I don’t want to return after an experience like that.
It felt unfair and made the experience really uncomfortable. As an Asian customer, I can’t ignore how it felt to be treated differently. Management should clarify the policy and train staff to follow a consistent, first-come system and avoid favoritism or bias.

Other ramen spots do not even come close to Bar Weems. Everything is handmade, and you can taste the craftsmanship throughout the entire menu. The cocktails are delicious, unique, and truly some of the best you’ll ever have—thanks to the creative and talented bartender, Jonathan. I especially love the Reunion Tour, infused with Earl Grey tea and topped with a bright grapefruit foam!

Best Ramen I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. I read a review about slow wait times and it was the complete opposite for us. Great service, our apps and drinks came out within 5-minutes and entrees shortly after. Great vibes, absolutely worth going to and will be back soon.

Blown away by Bar Weems. Everything about this place is awesome. From its eclectic vibes, 90’s/00’s hip hop music, and Michelin star quality Ramen. The prices are insanely cheap for what type of food you are getting. Not a single item was above $20. Best ramen I’ve had since spending months in Japan. Easily rivals the best dishes I had while I was there. Great addition to charleston and the greater park circle area. Been doing food reviews with a few buddies for fun for the better part of a year now. This scored the highest out of 15+ charleston restaurants we’ve tried. GO TRY IT

Such a great addition to the ramen scene! We have been going to their pop ups & now it’s amazing to see them go brick and mortar- no easy task especially in this climate! The husband and I have a restaurant in town and we came in on a rainy Saturday night to the most welcoming staff, quick service and great eats. That ramen warmed our souls on this chilly Saturday! We will be back!

Was very excited to try this place, arrived when it opened at 5. Unfortunately it was disappointing in multiple ways. The apps came fast but the ramen took two hours to come out. We had the wood ear mushrooms, dashi maki tamago omelet, and miso ramen. The mushrooms were excellent and something you don’t find often, the omelet was not particularly good, no one at our table who ordered it finished it, and the ramen broth lacked flavor, the chashu pork shoulder was excellent though. Wouldn’t return.
